Only bad thing was elevator only went to third floor.

The Inn overall is tired. Bed uncomfortable. Needs better maintenance and updating.

Please do not pay anything more than $200 - 250/night for this place. Particularly if they give you #3 room in the basement. The room is damp and roughly finished. Because, it is a basement. It was our fault for booking a last minute getaway. So I paid 2x what it was worth. It's my fault for the price, but I still feel burned.

The room was ok. Bed awfully uncomfortable. Smoke alarm went off in our room for no good reason at 1 am and needed to call manager to come and disengage. Things just felt worn out. It was a very nice continental breakfast and staff friendly and kind. Rooftop is fantastic. Good location to the wharf and shops and all things on Thames St.

Great location, staff and breakfast!

The property didn't have any working AC on an 85-degree day. The AC kept tripping the breaker and they said they couldn't fix it and the windows didn't open. They suggested we leave our door open instead.

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding. The staff were helpful. Parking is an excellent benefit. Everything is in easy walking distance. The continental breakfast was a bonus and quite a surprise with excellent coffee, fresh pastry assortment and bagels but the fresh fruit was a nice way to start the day. Very very quiet. Nice touch with fresh cookies at the desk when you wanted just a little snack. I will definitely stay again!

been going to newport for over 45 years. have passed by the admiral a 100 times but never stayed. thats over. what a gem right dab in the center of downtown. nice rooms great staff nice continental breakfast. parking on site and included. do your self a favor. book it

Great place to stay — the staff is very friendly and the location can’t be beat. I was only there for one night but my room was perfect, it was clean and had all the amenities I needed.

We stayed at Admiral Fitzroy for one night. We really appreciated the free parking and perfect location on Thames St. Our room was clean - the bathroom felt pristine. The bed was comfortable. We did have to call for help pretty late - around 10pm - when we were getting ready for bed and found we were unable to lock any of the windows on the parking lot side of our first floor room. Staff members arrived minutes later and helped us secure all of the windows so we could sleep soundly knowing we were safe. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would absolutely book another stay here.
