とにかくオーナーさんがとても親切でした。とてもフレンドリーで、チェックインするや否や、荷物もレセプションホールに置いて、早々とホテル施設の案内をしてくれました。何と言ってもビックリしたのが、ホテルの内に湧水を引き水飲み場を設けているのです。その水がとても美味しくて、部屋のポットを利用して何回も水をくみにいきました。お土産に買っていたアイリッシュウイスキーで水割りにして飲みました。とても美味しかったです。

Excellent stay! Such a cool spot and had the best sleep I've had in Ireland! Breakfast was delicious and varied, so something for every taste preference.

I liked the design and unique charm. The hosts were nice and the breakfast was great.

Our only regret staying at the Waters was that we only booked one night! The setting and facilities were phenomenal, and our hosts took such good care of us. We stayed in the Granny Flat, so had our own little hideaway right next to the main building, giving us close access to the bar/lounge and spring, but plenty of privacy too. Had a fantastic full breakfast, and stopped by the nearby Newtown Castle at the Burren College of Art for a visit. Would recommend very highly and would love to go back...a truly special place to stay!

What an amazing and unique find. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations, property and amazing staff! Absolutely wonderful place - beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean. Our bedroom was just a marvel, view right across the valley towards the burren hills, and the living room and dining room the nicest I’ve seen in any hotel, ever. Just sorry we came too late to enjoy it more. My partner was a bit bothered by the running water into the well just outside our room, with subsequent multiple bathroom-visits in the night… perhaps hard to do anything with.

We were met by Wolfgang, a very friendly, talkative chap, who showed us all around the common areas of the property and then to our room. The setting is lovely - beautiful Irish countryside - although the drive down the narrow lanes to access the property was a bit hairy. The bed was large and comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and the shower and bathroom were adequate. It was such a peaceful place! Unfortunately, we had to leave too early to partake in breakfast.

The only thing we regret about our stay was that it wasn’t longer. The property was beautifully maintained, the service was warm yet not overbearing, the room and amenities were fantastic, the views were stunning, the fresh proper breakfast was restaurant quality, and the self-service bar and holywell water were singular traveling experiences. Thank you Maria and Wolfgang for your thoughtful generous hospitality!

Great! Lovely property, very rustic but absolutely spotless, great shower, great breakfast, and charming owners who clearly put a lot of care into what they provide. Totally worth the price, would stay again.

Centrally located quiet oasis while you explore coastal Ireland.

Lovely property in a lovely area—felt like staying in a castle. The hosts (and breakfast) were incredible.

How to describe The Waters... in the best possible sense, it felt like going back in time. The photos on their website are very accurate but they cannot capture the essence of the place which is cosy, quaint and like nothing we have experienced before. The views are stunning, the staff warm and welcoming. A perfect stay.

This place was very different than the standard hotel but not in a bad way. It was gorgeous, cozy, welcoming and out of the ordinary.

Wolfgang was amazing! The property is as you would expect - it’s an original property so the floors creak, etc But the character is in the age. Thanks for having us!
