Vriendelijk personeel, redelijk schoon, de vloer liep enorm af, de kamer rook naar sigaretten en had slechts een klein raam en een laag plafond. De badkamer was klein door het enorme bad wat er stond. De indeling was onhandig daardoor. Het bed was prima!

Clean and pleasant, but overpriced Overall a decent stay. The hotel and our two rooms were spotlessly clean. However, compared to other places we stayed across South Devon (Salcombe and Kingsbridge) that same week, it didn't feel like great value for money at £190 a night. We encountered a few disappointing details in the rooms, and being forced to book breakfast with the earliest slot at 08:45 on Saturday was frustrating. Nice place, nice location, but overpriced for what it offers.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy great location.

Room was spacious, lovely, clean, cosy and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was very good too.. sadly the kitchen was closed for other food during our stay due to sickness, but that cant be helped. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Clearly understaffed and overpriced but no specific issues. Breakfast service was slow but to be expected as one person seems to do everything ie reception, the bar and breakfast service. Didn’t see any other staff. Location is central to the town but no parking.

This is a lovely hotel, offering parking at a nearby car park for £8 per day, and only a 5 minute walk to the ferries to Greenways, a cruise along the River Dart and the Devon Steam Railway. The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming on arrival. The rooms are clean and spacious, with unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits. The beds are comfy and also there are good hot showers. We had a meal there on our first evening and it was excellent - freshly cooked, local ingredients. The breakfasts each morning were superb - a great choice, table service and everything that you could want was provided. We recommend this hotel highly and will stay there again on our return to Dartmouth.

Good location and parking not a problem with the pass for the car park about 200m away (£8 per day) No complaints about the service or the breakfast. Host ensured we had a bathtub. The only downside was the tilted floor in room 8, to the extent it was disorientating. Granted, it is an old building and alterations may be limited. However. if 3 legs of the bedframe were lengthened to make it horizontal that would certainly help.

Browns is a fabulous hotel. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and it’s in a fantastic location. Would definitely come back again!

Good location in downtown Dartmouth. Outside of the hotel the street could have looked better. No Off street parking is a problem.A large municipal parking lot was available with a permit
