スタッフさんが親切

トロント西部・パークデール地区にあるホステルで、静かな住宅街の中にあります。 中心部からは少し距離がありますが、トラムでアクセスできます。 チェックインは22時までにフロントで行い、カードキーを受け取る形式です。 カードキーがあれば24時間出入り可能ですが、チェックアウト前日の22時までに返却する必要があります。 共用のキッチンやバスルームはきちんと管理されていて、設備面は問題ありませんでした。 ただ、どこかの部屋から「いびき」が聞こえてきて、よく眠れなかったのが少し残念。 落ち着いた雰囲気で、ローカルな暮らしに近い滞在ができるホステルです。

It's getting better, but the Toronto residents and the refugees still appear to lack a basic understanding of personal space.

I really like this hostel for its home-like feel with its vintage and assorted furnishings. Large screened TV to watch movies, etc. Living area is spacious with 3 comfortable couches and 3 dining tables, framed pictures, shelves with books. Lots of room to move around. The rooms are spacious and include lamps. I like that you can use any shower and toilet that's available near the kichen area and don't have to wait in line for the one that's in your dorm area. Lots of sinks are available in the open areas of some dorms where you can wash up if you don't need privacy. Some newly updated shower/bathrooms. Everywhere is kept cleaned well. Kitchen is well stocked with a variety of ceramic dishes, pots, pans, etc. Updated appliances. 2 huge fridges, both with freezers, a dishwasher, lots of counter space. There are 3 huge decks on different levels and one smaller enclosed deck, so tons of outdoor space. It feels like a cottage in the city. It's an old building but it's kept in good, solid condition. The staff are easy to work with and are good-natured. The area has some gorgeous old homes and is near the lake with its walking and bike paths. The carpeting leading up the stairs is somewhat worn and entrance walls could use a paint job, as it's heavily trafficked with luggage scruff marks.

The hostel is located in the Parkdale neighbourhood, which makes it easily accessible to many well-known tourist attractions via public transit. Guests should either pack light or be in good physical shape, as the long and steep flights of stairs can pose a challenge with lugging belongings. The dorm rooms are economical; they provide you with the basic accommodation. It would be nice, though, if each bed had its own personal outlets or charging stations, larger storage lockers, privacy curtains, and a lamp light (to allow for nighttime reading).

Lots of Toronto residents crowding the essential areas, acting like they own the place, making passive-aggressive comments.

Unfortunately only one shower working for two floor...

This hostel had bedbugs. I don’t recommend this hostel at all!

The service is really awful.here. You can tell it's the owner (or one of the owners) by his haughty attitude.

The place was what i paid for. I'm ok with that. The people in my room got up at 6am and turned the lights on then began talking about their job for 2 hours. They were rearranging bags and just making all the noise they could make. I asked them to follow the quiet hours till 8am but they wouldn't. Made for a long tired day.

Chambre limite insalubre, 2/3 des douches et 1/3 des toilettes en panne. Pas de lumière dans la chambre.... A éviter
