スタッフの対応が非常に良かったです。建物自体はそこそこ古く、日本のホテルで例えれば山奥の温泉ホテルといった風情です（温泉は出ませんが）。給湯のインフラが弱く、シャワーが途中から水になってしまいました。すぐにフロントにクレームすると、一度に多くの部屋でシャワーを使うとタンクのお湯がなくなってしまうのだとの由。でも、すぐに特別なブースターを点火するから1時間ほど待ってくれとのことで、1時間後に無事お湯のシャワーを浴びることができました。Wifiも部屋では利用できないレベルで、主にロビーのソファで使用しました。他の宿泊客は、多くが年配の方で、一部はグレンコー等をトレッキングすると思うような装備で、ネット環境を重視する宿泊客はあまり多くないのかもしれません。 このホテルで感動したのは朝食でした。ここで初めてキッパーズというニシンの燻製を食べたのですが、これがめちゃウマで、ポーリッジと一緒に食べるともうほとんど和食です。なお、西洋式にはポーリッジを食べ終わってからキッパーズが給仕されるのですが、魚はおかゆと一緒に食べたい私たちは、一緒に持ってきてくれと特別にお願いしました。

Easy place to stay for one night. Older but reasonably maintained.

The room was clean and specious, but the room was dated. I was unable to get the shower to work so I took a bath. The TV controller needed batteries and the electric cattle had a broken part. The breakfast menu selection was great and the hotel is in close proximity to West Highland Way. The room did not offer a refrigerator.

Breakfast was just ok

Although the promotional material said there were gluten free options, these were very limited. At breakfast, there was just gluten free toast, no cereal or porridge. Otherwise, breakfast was buffet style, and plenty of it. Evening meal was just ok.My portion of chicken was very, very small, but tasted ok. My side of vegetables didn't arrive, the waiter said I didn't need them, as I had some veg on my plate! Maybe there was some confusion somewhere? My husband's meal was fine. We heard lots of other people complaining. I found the dessert of apple crumble and custard inedible. The waiters tried to be helpful, but the service from the kitchen was appalling. It took us almost 2 hours. We would stay at the hotel again, but would not have an evening meal there.

Staff were exemplary and Evening meal was delicious. The breakfast next morning was clearly cooked by some one else and a bit average. Hotel was a little tired in places but it woustop us going again.

Breakfast buffet and main meals were very good. Staff were very nice, both friendly and helpful.

Room not clean and dinning was not clean either

Quiet off road location, ideal for us as we live in the countryside.

Evening menu was nice with some traditional Scottish items.

We arrived walking off the West Highland Way: soaked to the bone and exhausted. There was a big loud tour bus offloading at the same time, and the young woman at the front desk was so considerate and gracious — without asking, she guided us off to the side and checked us in ahead of the group. Room immaculate. Staff excellent. Really beautifully curated art in the rooms and hallways. Excellent value.

Hotel seemed "abandonned" upon our arrival and once we entered the room that was even more obvious. Room looked nothing like the pictures online,pretty basic and old. Not the cleanest as there were marks on the walls, spiderwebs,dust and crumbs on the floor and toilet was definately dont cleaned. Breakfast was poor ,dinner even poorer that was bearable by the very friendly staff who werw trying their best considering the circumstances. Bar had 3-4 table games (pool table,darts,table tennis etc) that were seemingly worn off and not maintained properly even tho needed £1/game for a pool game. Overall a hotel that surprised me its still open as its obvious noone -apart from the staff-tries for it.

Staff are great. Nice little bar. Could be doing with a bit of a freshen up tbh, but beyond that it’s great for what you pay.

Moderne og flott hotell midt i skogen. Stille og rolig og gode senger. God parkering og en imponerende ankomstportal. Gangavstand til butikk og spisesteder.

We stayed here to do some walking on the WHW. Our room was very spacious and clean, it was cleaned every day and coffee and milk etc was replenished each day. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The bar area was a little outdated but still fine for a drink after a long days walking. What really stood out was the lovely staff, they were all so friendly and happy to help. We would definitely stay here again.

Large hotel used by ealkers and bus trips, a bit tired by reasonable value and do a breakfast starting at 7am which allows for an early start..

Very friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely views from the top floor restaurant. Evening meal was good and good choices for breakfast. Easy to walk to the village too. The hotel is large and caters for big groups but we were lucky that it was quite a quiet night when we stayed. Wouldn't stop us booking another time.
