一階はパブです。結婚式で盛り上がっていましたが部屋の中は静かでした。 バスルームは広くて綺麗です。なぜか頭蓋骨の絵が飾ってありました。寝室は必要なものは全て揃っていますが、スーツケースを開けるスペースがありません。ベッドの上か、浴室でどうぞ。エレベーターはないです。 駐車場は奥にあって、停めるにはレセプションで行き方を教えてもらってぐるっとまわらばくてはなりません。パブの奥なので歩いて行くのは簡単です。

Room very dark. Loud air conditioning unit outside the window made sleeping impossible.

The dinner in the restaurant was outstanding, so I had high hopes for the breakfast which was a bit of a let down. The hotel itself is comfortable but could do with a lick of paint, the bedroom smelt a little damp but it was cute. I'd visit again if I was in the area still.

Beautiful building with tremendous character . Staff very pleasant and helpful . Car parking can be problematic because of the way people thoughtlessly park . It would be useful if registration numbers are taken during booking in to avoid being blocked in . Some parts of the building would benefit from a lick of paint and carpets are tired . Breakfast outstanding x

Great foo, comfortable room and friendly staff.

Une belle étape pour visiter Oxford et les alentours. Ce petit hôtel traditionnel est à dimension familiale. Personnel très agréable. A l'écoute et très disponible. Repas et petit-déjeuner excellent et copieux. La chambre 1 était parfaite et propre. Une salle de bain spacieuse et un fer et une table à repasser! Très pratique. Calme malgré la proximité de la route. Et une petite court aménagée à l'arrière très mignonne ! Bref, que du bonheur d'avoir découvert et séjourné dans ce charmant hôtel.

Beautiful area. Lovely clean room. Only downside of coming in winter or during bad weather is the restaurant and hotel are not all in one building. They are only a few steps apart but enough to get wet. Also not great for elderly due to cobbles floor outside area. But that’s all part of the character of the building. Will definitely be staying again as we live Abingdon.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms and the food is amazing.

I really enjoyed the service and the guy in the checking has some humor which I love. First I really appreciated the room, it looked cozy and u also commented on that, but when night fell and the lights by the bed was lit, I saw how very dirty and stained the floors where. Bug brown spots made me look for bugs but no bugs, so no worry but since the bedsheets was clean, the toilet was pristine I am a bit disappointed and a bit concerned why they did not just wet vacuum the floors once in a while?

Nice straff. Superbly cooked breakfast! Lots of stairs to get to the room. Bathroom smelled a bit mouldy but was very clean. So was the rest of our room.

Comfortable room and very quiet for being on the road

The room was great ,breakfast good and the staff great. Only issue was the paint on bathroomceiling was coming away due to leak or damp needed attention.enjoyed stay lots of resturants ,cafes and bars in area all in walking distance .river walks very close.

Very pleasant stay with helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is as close as you can get to the centre of Abingdon and from that point of view a great place to stay. It also has a great restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Unfortunately being a very old building, it is not disabled friendly, all the rooms are on the first and second floors, not lift, and very narrow stairs. Also we found the light switches in our room very confusing and we had to have our cardkeys reprogrammed a number of times.
