This hotel was great for us. Really well priced and located. Had everything we needed and they rented us bikes for our entire stay which was perfect! There were some ants coming in at night but that didn't bother us much, it's pretty inevitable in my opinion. The ac was set sooo cold and we couldn't change the settings. We should've asked the host but we didn't so that's on us. Probably could have been remedied. Cold ac is probably a plus to many visitors :)

Rooms are basic and very outdated. Not very clean and very much in need of upkeep. AC marginal. No pool, beach or other ameneties, which was probably clear on the booking page. Its a far as possible from the "center of town" Sargassum is bad along the waterfront.

If on a budget, which we were not, its fine. AC worked and location was good, less than a 10 minute walk into main part of town along shoreline. Nice pier to go out on and swim. Also it is kind of shallow so you can stand up anywhere. Beer sold in office is cheaper than anything but a grocery store. there is and excellent restaurant (a little pricey) about a 100-150 yards south (Weezies). My main complaint here is they do not know what a pillow is. Those offered were like 10 inches thick and hard as a rock...did not use. Got some that were thinner but still quite hard. I ended up using the folded up bed quilt as a pillow. Operator was a good guy and so was grandpaw.

The people are so nice, but the property has seen better days. Our rooms were a bit... rough around the edges. The beach front was kind of a mess, looked nothing like the pictures. We were out and about all day, so it wasn't a big issue, but if you're looking for a place to hang out for a beautiful beach day, this doesn't really work.

Nice beach, easy check in and check out, quiet area and it was nice sitting out on the dock. Best part, all of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Mr. Delroy!

The room was basic but clean and they let us leave our luggage prior to check in so that we could do a trip which was helpful. The area is quiet . The room was large, and the aircon worked well. You can get coffee in the office each morning which was good. There is what appears to be a family dog loose in the resort , and it doesn’t bother anyone but we did see dog mess on the ground which was a bit off putting.

This hotel was the worst one of our whole trip. It desperately needs updating and painting. There were bars on the windows, ants in the bathroom and a loud gurgling noise from the toilet and shower all night. We moved out after only 1 night there and went to the Tropical Paradise Hotel which was very nice. We had an oceanfront room. They have a nice pool with swim up bar. I would not recommend Anchorage Beach Resort to anyone.

we had a nice ocean view .beautiful sunrise pictures! Nice to have coffee in morning and sandwiches.

The place was run down but a quiet location

The building was gross and felt unsafe. The dock was in disrepair and the bar didn't have a roof. The entire experience was weird and we couldn't get out of there fast enough.

The staff was wonderful and I really enjoyed the complementary breakfast sandwiches. The property itself is a little worn, especially the rooms, but we liked having kayaks and our own pier.

Delroy was nice and incredibly helpful. All units had mini split hvac units. This is the slower and quiet sode of the island. Lounging areas doch for swimming and hammocks. I would stay again.

The staff is very welcoming

BED BUGS. I knew this wasn't 5 star accommodation, but it was dingier than I expected. Okay, I can put up with old, even a few stains, as long as it's clean. But on my last morning of 3, I awoke with 4 small bits in a row near my abdomen - a sure sign of bed bugs. Also zero amenities, just instant coffee if you boil the kettle in the office. One star is for the staff, who are extremely nice and doing their best, but the owner, a miserable man, is obviously just letting it fall apart. Should not be available on any reputable travel site. Expedia should not offer this hotel.

Staff were very kind. King bed in room 26 was EXTREMELY firm and pillows were huge & firm. I chose to purchase a pillow in town for the stay. A big storm came through and we had a leak in the roof that dripped between our pillows all night. We put a trash bag between us to keep from getting wet. Only allowed two towels at a time, no beach towels were provided. AC in room worked great. Views were gorgeous, beautiful location & we appreciate that they allowed us in the room early because of an early flight. We will not stay again but loved our time on the beautiful Caye Caulker.

Fantastic staff!

The first room on the second floor was terrible and then moved us to the ground level which was much better. Its a budget property so dont expect any extras. Danny who worked there was fabulous!
