I received a warm welcome on arrival and was briefed on the local area. The single room met with all my needs, was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here .The rooms were very clean. The breakfasts were very tasty with good choices. The beach and shops are a short walk away. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.. Easy parking at the back of the property. Highly recommend. Will be back .

Very friendly and clean and tidy. Good position with nearly level walk to beach and town. Unusual for this very hilly town. Please note the single room is very small and there is no guest lounge. This could be a challenge in bad weather. Good value with a full breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning. Location was a short walk along the river from the beach and restaurants. Finally a shout out to Ruth and Phil who were the most charming hosts you could hope to meet.

My hosts were excellent, with a good knowledge of the local area and the attractions of surrounding towns, the breakfast was filling and the room was clean and well appointed.

We had a fantastic stay here for my partners birthday. It's in a great location within an easy walk down the pretty river to the town. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the bed really comfy. Will definitely come back here again ☺️

A bright & comfortable guest house in a quiet residential area. Hosts very welcoming. Terrific breakfast cooked to order. A pleasant walk along a mill stream to the old town.

Phil and Ruth made me feel like I was staying with friends - super helpful and excellent service. Would definitely stay here again. Small tip: the walk to and from town is MUCH easier via the River Lim walkway than by road.

We had a lovely weekend staying here. Easy walking distance to Lyme Regis. Very warm welcome from the hosts. Very clean and comfortable room. Good value for money too.

My friend and I just spent 2 nights here when we were attending a cookery class. It was just perfect for us. The hosts Phil and Ruth were so pleasant and welcoming. their house is absolutely spotless, breakfast was good and fresh, It’s situated so there is a nice few minute walk to the sea. There really isn’t anything to fault. I would most definitely recommend staying here and I will do again if I get another opportunity to.

I was able to book a single room which was well appointed and had everythinh I required.

Nice b&b. 10 minute walk to the beach. Some free parking but only four spaces. Would happily recommend
