息子夫婦にはキッチンルームとトイレ・シャワー・サウナ風呂付の部屋を頼み、私はトイレ共有の部屋を利用しました。アイスランドは物価が高いので４泊した朝と夕食をキッチンで地元の食を使い美味しく楽しめました。サウナは夜の寒いオーゾラ観測の後の体を温めるのには最高ですが、１室しか無いようです。夫妻のオーナーも親切に対応してくれました。ただしベットメーキングは頼まないとしてくれませんが、私たちは不要でした。ロケーションとして以下の日程にはベストチョイスでした。初日はゴールデンサークル、２日目は南部エリアでVikまでの日帰り、３日目はスナイフェルネース半島をそれぞれ日帰りしました。４日目にチェックアウトして、地熱発電所見学の後、レイキャビックとブルーラグーンを回りました。Selfossの郊外にあるのでオーロラ観測は宿からも可能ですが、車で更に暗闇を探せばもっと良いでしょう。幸い４日間のうち３回見ることが出来ました。しかし、アイスランドの天候は１日のなかでも激しく変わるので保証の限りではありません。真上には現れず３０度の遠方に雲のように見えましたが満足です。

This was the most magical place I’ve ever stayed, in the middle of horse country, so peaceful and beautiful. The host Ragnar is so hospitable, kind, personable and funny. There are horses on property and they are lovely! There’s also a sweet cat, hot tub, coffee and tea for guests. This was such an amazing experience, recommend to anyone and I hope to be back! Thank you so much!

Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was gorgeous and shower was amazing. Location was beautiful. Hot tub very clean. Hosts were amazing with answering any questions we had. We were lost and they were very kind helping us find where to go.

Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer war leider nicht sehr sauber. Dusche und Armaturen waren arg verschimmelt, der Abfluss hat unangenehm gerochen. Das Zimmer an sich war sehr klein, ein wenig mehr Platz wäre schön gewesen. Das Bett war sehr bequem, die Küche war gut ausgestattet.

Very nice guest house. Super clean. Quite small for three people. Our recommendation is to add window screens to limit flies.

Cottage was clean and well stocked. Bathroom had strong odor of sulpher possibly. Check in was great even late at night.

Very beautiful guesthouse with all the amenities you need and clean. Only one washroom in the home to serve 3-4 rooms though, which can become a bit frustrating.

Clean, quiet, comfortable with lovely charming rooms in the country. Cheerful and well-equipped shared kitchen with great coffee! The best part was the wonderful, welcoming hosts who cared about our experience and generously shared their home with us. Great Iceland ambassadors!

Staff is extremely welcoming and informative. The apartment we were in was clean and maintained. The room had a sauna that was difficult for us to use (never used that type before) but the hot tub was the best! The drive down the scenic road was great and we loved seeing the horses. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend staying.
