息子夫婦にはキッチンルームとトイレ・シャワー・サウナ風呂付の部屋を頼み、私はトイレ共有の部屋を利用しました。アイスランドは物価が高いので４泊した朝と夕食をキッチンで地元の食を使い美味しく楽しめました。サウナは夜の寒いオーゾラ観測の後の体を温めるのには最高ですが、１室しか無いようです。夫妻のオーナーも親切に対応してくれました。ただしベットメーキングは頼まないとしてくれませんが、私たちは不要でした。ロケーションとして以下の日程にはベストチョイスでした。初日はゴールデンサークル、２日目は南部エリアでVikまでの日帰り、３日目はスナイフェルネース半島をそれぞれ日帰りしました。４日目にチェックアウトして、地熱発電所見学の後、レイキャビックとブルーラグーンを回りました。Selfossの郊外にあるのでオーロラ観測は宿からも可能ですが、車で更に暗闇を探せばもっと良いでしょう。幸い４日間のうち３回見ることが出来ました。しかし、アイスランドの天候は１日のなかでも激しく変わるので保証の限りではありません。真上には現れず３０度の遠方に雲のように見えましたが満足です。

Camera accogliente e bel bagno grande e pulito. Era in condivisione solo con un'altra camera il che lo rendeva più fruibile. La cucina era grande e accogliente e poteva ospitare molte persone. La cosa fantastica è stato il bagno caldo a disposizione.

Lovely stay in a nice quiet place

Majapaikkamme oli pieni mökkiryhmä maaseudulla. Vastaanotto oli lämmin ja persoonallinen. Itse asunto oli kodikas, siisti ja hyvin varustettu mm keittiön osalta. Kokonaisuudessaan oleskelustamme jäi hyvä ja viihtyisä fiilis.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this area ! There is a coziness and warmth about this place that is unmissable. I wish we had more time to use the hot tub and hang out with the horses. The location is beautiful , room is spacious with a small kitchen and all that made our stay very comfy !

Gite bien équipé avec un grand lit. Il y à même un canapé convertible en supplément si on est plus de deux. Coin cuisine pratique. Il manque un peu de vaisselle : je seule très grandd poêle et deux marmites en guise de casseroles. Démesuré pour une personne seule mais j'ai su m'en accommoder. Accueil chaleureux alors que le mail reçu laissé entendre une réception en self service. Personnel attentif aux besoins. Mon seul regret est que le climat gris, froid et pluvieux m'ai ôté l'envie d'essayer le bain extérieur à 40°C. L'été islandais ressemble parfois à un hiver français.

This place was great. Not far from town, really clean, a hot tub, and a bed that was pretty comfortable. We even enjoyed the hot tub and visiting with the horses.

Amazing place! Highly recommend. The hosts are also wonderful and very helpful. The community kitchen was a great to have. Comfortable bed, fridge in the room and very clean all around. Would stay here.

Everything was great! I love the location, we saw some beautiful horses! We stayed in the house and it was clean, well decorated, and kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay again!

This was the most magical place I’ve ever stayed, in the middle of horse country, so peaceful and beautiful. The host Ragnar is so hospitable, kind, personable and funny. There are horses on property and they are lovely! There’s also a sweet cat, hot tub, coffee and tea for guests. This was such an amazing experience, recommend to anyone and I hope to be back! Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was gorgeous and shower was amazing. Location was beautiful. Hot tub very clean. Hosts were amazing with answering any questions we had. We were lost and they were very kind helping us find where to go.

Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer war leider nicht sehr sauber. Dusche und Armaturen waren arg verschimmelt, der Abfluss hat unangenehm gerochen. Das Zimmer an sich war sehr klein, ein wenig mehr Platz wäre schön gewesen. Das Bett war sehr bequem, die Küche war gut ausgestattet.
