Ett otroligt charmigt boende i gammal grekisk miljö i en av alla små smala gränder. Trevligt bemötande och rent o fint. Låt dej inte luras av att det endast är 2 *. Vårt femte boende på Skiathos o Skopelos men absolut charmigaste o vi återvänder gärna.

We loved our stay here! The staff was amazing and the property was in a great location. We loved spending time with all of the cats running around outside. I definitely recommend doing the breakfast option because it was exceptional both mornings!

A traditional Greek villa with a beautiful owner. The staff were very friendly and made everything easy. The bonus was that breakfast was included!

what an absolutely amazing place to stay the staff were so helpful they could not do enough for the room was beautiful and the best thing of all was the breakfast more than we could ever have needed and so lovely and well presented in addition to this if you’re a cat lover, this is the place for you so many cats outside and please donate to the cat sanctuary

Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! )

We loved our Stay at Mato hotel. Family room was convenient for our family of 5. The breakfast was exceptional and the owner is so sweet.

We loved our stay here. The host was so welcoming and friendly and the hotel is full of traditional local character. Lovely spacious rooms for a family with a large balcony. Breakfast was fabulous.

delightful family hotel. on typical narrow street with steps, so a little hard to find with suitcases. Owner very friendly, great breakfast . A/C a godsend.

Hotellet er autentisk græsk. Man bliver mødt af en lille gårdhave, hvor der er virkelig mange katte. Vores værelse var ikke helt klar, men det var værd at vente på. Vi top værelset nummer 10 med den mest fantastiske udsigt. Morgenmaden var fin.

The owner of this property is very sweet. We enjoyed our stay here because we aren’t too picky. However, you are greeted by around 8 cats that linger around property and the rooms itself are definitely not non-smoking. Very strong smoke smell, but that seems to be very common in Greece. EVERYONE SMOKES!! The location is great. Very close to town , port and all the nightlife. Parking is a beast. Took us 30 min to find a spot and then walked with all our luggage 15 minutes. But the rooms were clean and we were comfortable.

Ho soggiornato qui dal 12 al 15 Agosto, per chi non ha troppe pretese è l’ideale… Struttura nel centro di Skiathos, a due passi da ristoranti, dal porto, e dalla strada principale con negozi di souvenir dove fare una passeggiata… La proprietaria del Mato Hotel, molto accogliente, disponibile a qualsiasi informazione e sempre presente in struttura…Colazione la mattina molto buona e abbondante…

This is now our go-to place when we stay in Skiathos. Located in the Old Harbor area of the port, the hotel has a beautiful, old-style charm in its courtyard, lobby and dining/sitting room, and clean, fresh bedrooms and bathrooms, with charming modern furniture and fittings. Best of all, our wonderfully-kind hostess gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. We just loved the entire stay... and next time we will plan on having breakfast there, because it looked divine, and we were very sorry we'd made other plans!

We had to cancel a week before going due to ferry cancellations bad weather and flight changes. We were unable to get a refund either thru expedia or the horel directly. This was very unfair. I have no review on the property since we were unable to go

Posto molto carino, un po’ retro’ gli arredi. Le camere semplici, il letto un po’ duro, ad ogni modo c’era tutto quello che serve. La titolare molto gentile e disponibile in qualsiasi occasione. Solo una segnalazione, se si è allergici ai gatti, Skiatos e soprattutto il Mato hotel ne sono pieni.

Only a 1 night stop over. Friendly staff with good English. Very accommodating. Traditional hotel with a homely feel.
