Very affordable compared to other hotel in TST. Staffs are accommodating and nice too. ❤.

First experience And the last time!-Nothing like the advertising picture at all.- The water heater doesn't work.-When I first stepped into the room I felt shocked. Because I found 2 cockroaches! And 1-2 more per day while I was here.-I can smell food like spices all the time even though all windows are closed.-air conditioner made very loud noise.-As I was washing my hair, the water stopped flowing.-Clogged water pipe.- You must manually add water to the toilet before flushing the toilet every time. Unable to flush the toilet immediately.-The sheets, pillowcases, and blankets looked very dirty, smelled, and were damp.-There is an additional cleaning fee of 15 % but there is not even garbage collected from the room.-The only good thing about this place is its location, which is near Mtr. And convenient to travel.

Kalo kalian mau cari nyaman dan semua baik-baik saja jangan ke tempat ini, management Dhillon hotels ada 10 nama hotel yang mereka punya di Chungking dan itu semua sama parahnya, kamar bau, Lantai bau asem, toilet kotor pelayanannya buruk, di sini mereka mencari-mencari kesalahan kita di suruh tambah untuk kamar lebih besar padahal kamar sesuai di foto itu karena sudah malam saya harus merelakan membayar tambahan 600$ untuk 2 malam jadi saya per malam nya 1,5 / malam sama saja kalian pilih hotel beneran lah banyak yang banyak jauh lebih layak dari hotel Dhillon management ini. Pake deposit lah untuk apa?, Hairdryer, kulkas, lampu tidak berfungsi rusak, handuk tidak ada, jangan tanya keset kamar mandi juga tidak ada percayalah jangan di tempat ini. Kecuali yang tidak keberatan dengan kondisi yang saya sebut di atas. Saya pindah ke gedung sebelah nama gedung Mirador di sana jauh lebih baik lebih layak bersih semua berfungsi harga lebih murah dari Dhillon management 1,2 jt dapet 2 malam semua ada komplit tidak ada deposit pula mau masuk 2-4 orang meski kamar kecil mereka tidak masalah dan tidak ada tambahan biaya👍.

When we checked in, we were charged a cleaning fee amounting to HKD145 and a refundable deposit of HKD100. We already requested for three separate beds during our online booking, but we were given a room for two that is clearly not for 3 pax. We requested to be transferred and our new room was located on 17F, we had to take the lift to 16F and take the stairs to go to our room. The water in the faucet smelled like it had rust in it. The shower head was so small, it looked like a bidet. There were small cockroaches in the bed every time we went back to the hostel. Please shell out more money for your accommodation. I do not recommend Chungking Mansion. By the time you stepped in the building, the scent was unbearable, so I had to wear a triple mask. I also felt unsafe in that building. You might want to consider other places around TST.

Very nice hostel for it 's price. Livable and comfortable. This is hong kong. A top tier city, if you're expecting too much of what you paid, don't! Go to other hotel that 's 10x more expensive.

All guest rooms managed by Melbourne Hostels are nice and affordable! Very cheap compared to other hostels throughout Hong Kong. Staff are nice too, including Miss KC who's also very accommodating. I will always choose to stay here.

The only great thing at chungking mansions is the location and affordability especially for us Filipinos who are on a tight budget. But the room it was not very spacious, the CR is very limited and has no garbage can with presebce of cockroaches. The groundfloor of the chungking mansions seems like a ghetto area. I would recommend a total renovation of the chubgking mansions and separate the stalls like eatery and market from the hostels.

The room boy was cheating on me, I check out at 4 am and he ask me to check. Out by 11 am, I should can stay till 4pm. He said have another guest will come by 11 am, why? Is. That only for 7hr rent? The rule is should 24hr. Please for the manager tell him to not cheat to costumer his name jhony/shabir I guess. Thanks.

Kamarnya kecil banget, tidak ada sikat gigi, sabun handuk fasilitas banyak yang tidak ada.

Our stay at Melbourne hostel turned out great. Everything was awesome from the staff to the overall place, except for the following: 1. We were surprised that there’s an additional service charge per room on top of what we paid for already. 2. The aircon took so long to cool. Good thing there’s a wallfan in our room. 3. The elevator is too small and very slow which is understandable considering how old is the hostel. There are also few good things that I would like to point out: 1. The staff were great and very accommodating 2. The location of our place is perfect and we were able to easily access the MTR, fast food chains, bus stations. 3. You can even request to the staff for breakfast and dinner and they offer it at a cheap price. I recommend you do this since the cost of food in HK is very expensive. Overall, our experience in Melbourne hostel was very good.

ป้ายชื่อที่พักไม่มีชื่อMelbourne Hostel ปรากฏในบอร์ดด้านล่างหน้าลิฟท์ค่ะ ซึ่งทำให้หาที่พักได้ไม่สะดวกเท่าที่ควร ใช้เวลานานกว่าจะเจอที่พัก ลิฟท์ก็เล็กบรรจุคนได้น้อย ต้องต่อคิวนานกว่าจะได้ขึ้นไปพัก Wi-Fi ก็ไม่เห็นจะแรงเลย ใช้อินเตอร์เน็ตของตัวเองยังจะไวกว่า ห้องไม่เก็บเสียงได้ยินเสียงของคนข้างห้องด้วย พนักงานต้อนรับผู้ชายตัวใหญ่ๆหน่อยพูดก็ไม่เพราะเลย และที่สำคัญจองห้องพักไป1ห้องแต่พอไปถึงกลับพบว่ามีถึงสี่การจอง ซึ่งหมายถึงสี่ห้อง ทำให้ต้องเสียค่าservice charge 15% อีกสามห้องเพิ่มโดยใช่เหตุ ทางโรงแรมบอกไม่รู้เรื่องโยนให้ไปคุยกับagency เอง ตอนcheck -out เอาคีการ์ดมาคืนไม่ครบเพราะเราได้เอาคืนให้พนักงานผู้ชายที่พาไปดูห้องตั้งแต่วันแรกแล้ว พนักงานต้อนรับผู้หญิงจะไม่ยอมคืนเงินมัดจำค่าคีการ์ดให้นะคะ ถ้าไม่มีคีการ์ดมาคืน แล้วจะเอาที่ไหนคืนให้หละคะก็เอาคีการ์ดคืนให้คนที่พาไม่ดูห้องตั้งแต่วันแรกแล้วอ่ะ เราจะเก็บไว้เองก็ไม่ให้เราเก็บ บอกว่าไม่เป็นไร ไม่มีปัญหาอะไร ประมาณนี้ค่ะ รู้สึกว่าจะเอาเปรียบทุกอย่างเลยนะที่พักแห่งนี้ ทางขึ้นก็น่ากลัวค่ะ

Very helpful staff. They gave my mom early check in on the first day and free luggage storage on the last day, it was awesome. I was the translator for my mom (she spoke minimum English) so the staff explained it to me through whatsapp call. She helped my mom a lot even though it's a little bit difficult to find the place in the first place. Chunking Mansion had a bad reputation, but it's in the perfect location, the Airport bus was right in front of it. Overall it's a pleasant and safe place for my mom because many good people tried to help her there from the first time she arrived there. So you can trust and try this one

Pertama kali kami datang kami surprise sekali, 1. kami hendak bertanya terkait penitipan koper sebelum jam check-out apakah bisa? Dijawabnya dengan nada ketus dan sombong padahal sebenarnya bisa loh di ucapkan dengan baik-baik kalau tidak bisa, tidak perlu menggerutu dan marah-marah. 2. Ternyata kamar yang kami pesan dipindahkan ke hostel lain bukan di melbourne hostel dan di lantai yang berbeda, tapi oke lah soal itu. 3. Ternyata ada biaya tambahan untuk kebersihan dan lain-lain, yang ternyata sudah di notice di aturan (buat pengalaman kalian jg baiknya dibaca detail lg aturan setelah kalian bayar) 4. Kamar bersih, peralatan mandi tidak ada, kamar aman, penjaga hostel jg ramah, air minum disediakan di luar jadi bisa refill mnum gratis 5. Meneurut saya dengan harga segini kamar sudah sesuai hanya saja pelayanan resepsionis nya yg mesti diperbaiki serta attitudenya
