Lovely room in a country hotel with views of Pendle hill and a nice restaurant.

Excellent views and breakfast

On arrival the receptionist on duty was extremely helpfull and informative.Our bedroom in the in the annexe was acceptable although the bathroom facilities had problems which we reported. We had invited friends to join us for Dinner that evening alas the food was abysmal,two of uscordered cheese and onion pie and requested no vegetables or baked beans to accompany the said dish,the cheese and onion pie lacked cheese and flavour and.mushy, the chips accompanying the pie pale and insipid alas the scamoi and chips the samev. We certainly would not recommend dining at aThe Calf's Head .

Loved the room, the views, the staff, the food and prices. So much I’ve booked in again for when I work in the area. Highly recommended

Lovely pub B&B. Good vibe, really good food, both in the evening and breakfast. Rooms nice and service was good. Really nice gardens for summer drinks outside and kids.

I have literally done hundreds of reviews over 15 years with Expedia and this hotel is absolutely a top 3 contender. This is the BEST English country Hotel I have stayed at. The premises, staff and meals are superb. Do NOT bypass this hotel and I would even plan a trip to purposely include a visit. Loved every moment of our stay.

Friendly, good service and clean, no issues with accommodation

Staff members very pleasant , food brilliant but expensive,Room 4, quite dark due to a very small window,View, overlooking the kitchen roof, boiler (I presume) gas vent outlet. Room obviously ex bedroom cut down to accommodate a bathroom. A 3 night stay was adequate.

Didn't know was more restaurant than pub, but hey ho! Good breakfast, excellent bed, first rate staff.

Lovely stay. Beautiful sunny afternoon on arrival, stunning views. Accommodation was very good Evening meal, great home cooked food. Over all, I was glad to return for a night at the Calfs Head.

We arrived early 12noon our rooms were ready nice and clean. Staff were really friendly. Bed was very comfortable best night sleep in a hotel for a while.Breakfast was excellent fresh fruit salad, yogurt,full English breakfast and toast were all excellent did I say the staff were Brilliant

This was just ok. It's an old pub, so parking was hard, my room was cold and water pressure low. Staff were nice and it was quaint. Ok for one night

The property was in the most beautiful setting. It was a detached building housing 2 downstairs bedrooms. It was spotless and the staff were so lovely. It was warm and very welcoming. We included the breakfast and it was delicious

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Stayed in the deluxe king room with a large jacuzzi bath. All staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely and they catered gluten free for me. Service in the bar and restaurant was 1st class. We have booked to stay again.
