Excellent in everything. In house dining is excellent with extremely courteous and friendly staff and very good, delicious choices. Manager was present everywhere and was very friendly and helpful.

What a delightful stay at Karpaha Sands on the East coast of Sri Lanka . The beautiful beachfront property, great staff and fabulous food all made for a great experience. The staff here have smiles galore and are very helpful and obliging. The small touches like cookies and chocolate brought to your room in the evening, the complimentary fruit juices brought to your beach lounge, home made jams at breakfast , small taster pre dinner are lovely extras. A glitch on check in had us changing rooms and a bit disappointing start as we had rooms booked for a birthday celebration. An upgrade was offered but did not eventuate. The facilities are designed to really appreciate the sea views and breeze -pool is fabulous. Our favourite slingshot guy kept the pesky crows away. We had a lovely time with our family and friends from Australia. East coast of Sri Lanka is our favourite..Kalkudah did not disappoint. A little slice of paradise

An oasis on an incredible beach, no other resorts within miles, great food and beverage at reasonable prices given the standard of resort and service received. Staff are impeccable delivering a luxurious experience in a no fuss manner. A small point, the spa facility does not match the standard of the overall facility though the massage itself was very good. We count our blessings in having stayed here, there aren’t many unspoilt beach destinations like this anymore, the facility, staff and F&B top it off. We hope to return one day.

This was the most amazing place to stay. Staff were so friendly and location is heaven on earth.

We had a wonderful holiday at Karpaha Sands, lacking nothing. Absolute peace, plenty of privacy, great food, and beautiful accommodations. Our thanks go first and foremost to the stuff. Always friendly, helpful, attentive, and courteous. A great team. Many thanks to Nisanthan for his support throughout our entire holiday. We will definitely come back.

Von vorne bis hinten ein hervorragender Aufenthalt! Unser Butler Namal hat einen sehr guten Job gemacht und uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Auch Umberto (Manager) ist stets darum bemüht das alles seine Ordnung hat. Zudem hat uns der Umgang mit den Hunden gefallen. Sie werden gefüttert und auch der Tierarzt kommt alle paar Wochen vorbei. Wir werden wiederkommen!

A safe and inviting glamping experience by the ocean.

Ein besseres Hotel hatte ich bis jetzt noch nie. Es ist alles perfekt. Höchstes Lob auch an das Personal und den Manager wo man sich direkt wohlfühlt.

Et magisk sted med hav, basseng og fantastiske bongalower. Maten var utsøkt, vinene gode, alle som jobbet var fantastiske. Det kan være greit å vite at stedet er veldig isolert, og at det er fugler som synger ved soloppgang! Vi ble hentet av Babu i en stor bil den 6 timer kjøreturen. Han var en ypperlig sjåfør :)

Chambre spacieuse et tres bien équipée. Tres bonne restauration (petit dej et repas). La piscine est tres agreable et slargement sugfisement grande pour la taille de l'hôtel (peu de chambres). Equipe professionnel. La plage est propre et les pecheurs viennent relever les filets juste devant l'hôtel. Chouette à regarder!

This was our second time staying there with our family and we LOVED every second of it. The staff is hands down the best. The beach is the best you will find in Sri Lanka for swimming. The food and atmosphere is unmatched. Highly recommend Karpaha to anyone. Will be going back when we are in Sri Lanka again.

Etwas abgelegen, ruhig liegt das Traumresort an einem wunderschönen Strand an der wenig bekannten Ostküste Sri Lankas. Grossartige Family Villa, bestens ausgestattet, hervorragender Service und gutes Essen. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen fabelhaften zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt im Karpaha Sands. Der Transfer von Colombo bis zum Resort ist zwar etwas länger, lohnt sich aber total. Hier hat rundum alles gestimmt. Der Strand ist wirklich wie im Paradies! Und da das Resort so weitläufig ist, hat man immer seine Ruhe. Davon abgesehen, hat der Service auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Überraschend für uns war der persönliche Butler Service, der einem zur Verfügung steht und jeden Wunsch von den Augen abliest. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Traumhaftes Glampinghotel in Alleinlage am kilometerlangen Sandstrand. Zelte, Pool, Essen und der Service waren hervorragend. Besonders unser "Butler " Ash machte einen tollen Job. Der Aufpreis für ein Zelt in erster Reihe hat sich definitiv gelohnt.

Das Hotel ist so konzipiert, dass man das Gefühl hat alleine zu sein. Es hat sehr viel Platz, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Angebot seitens Speisen und Getränke ist sehr gut. Vor allem sehr kinderfreundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A hidden gem in the unexplored east coast side of Sri Lanka. The property offers some of the best coastlines in Sri Lanka. The villas are very artfully crafted for a nominal price. The butler service has been absolutely fantastic and Ash has been always smiling and warm. The food is delicious and has a ton of vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend this place.
