Very helpful staff and nice room with all amenities, definitely will stay again.

Over priced as heck, beautiful but if you looked too closely it wasn’t that clean. Every single thing is a new charge, over priced and seriously undervalued. Would recommend other families stay at somewhere like the Hilton, where they don’t charge an arm and a leg for every thing. Right down to charging per item of clothing washed - at the Hilton it was free / included. Staff were significantly more helpful and helped us to our room at the Hilton, they were rude and condescending at the W. The breakfast is charged per day, not per stay. We were charged to use the pool, and the gym - considering the price of the stay it has been included at every other hotel on our trip. The outdoor pool isn’t open until 2pm, and the gym / indoor pool are only open from 8am - a 24 hour gym would be appropriate- and has been the situation in every other hotel.

Clean looking room, spacious, felt up to date. The negatives – despite non smoking room it stunk of cigarettes, had to open balcony doors – not ideal in February. Secondly, when arrived staff tried to say we had booking for two single twin rooms, despite clearly booking stating twin DOUBLE rooms – So either they are lying at the point of booking or staff at check-in are lying . Eitherway not what expect from this tier of hotel and left a sour taste in the mouth before holiday has started.

Service was outstanding. Language was a small problem at check in. Room service was the best I have experienced. Loved W Xian, I will be back with my family.

The rooms smell of cigarette smoke, we asked for a move and the second room also had this smell, the carpet had not been cleaned in a long time and it made me think how long have the sofa cushions not been cleaned for. The service at reception is good, thereafter i dont think it upto W standard, they wont make any cocktails not on the cocktail list and the ones on the list arent nice.

Canadian Tourists Review : We had an amazing stay at the W in Xi’an. The staff was wonderful and spoke English very well as we needed help to navigate our adventures! The hotel is extremely stylish and the interior architecture is mind blowing! Could use a bit more lighting in the lobby at night, but radiates an amazing mood and atmosphere. The room was very clean, spacious and stylish with a very quiet air conditioning that allowed us to sleep soundly at night! It was also well equipped with Dyson and Magic Toilets! The dining options were great in and around the hotel depending on your taste and if not, you can walk to a very luxurious shopping / grocery mall not too far away! TIP - ROOM VIEW : Book the Park / Garden view as the City View is a wall of condo buildings! We would definitely come back without question and they definitely put the W franchise on our radar!
