The hotel was in a good location, breakfast was good, staff friendly and check in was a breeze. However, I have to select 'unsatisfying' because cleanliness was to be desired, which I was very surprised given the good reviews and ratings by other reviewers. I got a corner suite with balcony and room amenities were beyond what was expected (including a bathtub, water , soap and shampoo). However, upon opening the door, I was welcomed by 2 crickets and a medium sized cockroach on the bed. The next night when I came back after a long day and switched on the light, there were 4 medium sized cockraoches playing on the floor near the toilet, and 2 more on the other side of the bed. I killed 4. I was exhausted and hoped none would end up in my mouth when I snored. The next day at breakfast (which was good but I just don't want to think how clean the kitchen is.), there was a large dead cockroach next to my table in the dining hall. A cleaner spotted it and kicked it like a deflated football out bit by bit to the back door. Then she and another cleaner proceeded to sweep and mop under my table and legs with detergent so strong I had to stop and eave half way before I threw up form the pungent smell. But the hotel does look like the pictures online and apart from the big no no of dirt and cockroaches and lack in cleanliness, it is all good and affordable?
