Pros: The propriety is beautiful. Common areas are very well decorated. Bath towels new and soft. Breakfast is excellent. Cons: Room very stuffy and warm (no AC). Noisy construction in front of the building and so is the road. Staff between arrogant and almost rude. Room/bathroom design weird. Loose electrical wires hanging out of the walls. Holder for shampoo and conditioner but nothing there.

It was a very nice hotel and hotel room. The breakfast was extremely good! The only downfall was there was a lot of construction going on within the hotel and on the street of the hotel.

Brand new and beautiful

wir durften im neuen Teil des Hotels unseren Aufenthalt geniessen. war durch und durch perfekt.

Frühstück gut, aber viel zu kleiner Frühstücksraum. Gäste wurden zum Frühstück in die Hotellobby verwiesen. Wir waren im Neubau untergebracht.( Zimmer sehr neu). Dieser war teilweise noch eine Baustelle. Zum Frühstück mussten wir in das alte Haupthaus ca 30 m weiter. Die Klima lief nicht, dadurch zu warm im Zimmer. An der Rezeption konnte man es mir erklären. Fenster öffnen ging nicht. Kein Schrank. Das Hotel ist von der Lage super. Wir würden es auch jederzeit wieder buchen. Klare Empfehlung.

Sehr schönes Hotel, geräumige Zimmer, sehr sauber, schöne Lounge. Kleiner negativer Punkt beim Frühstück. Der Frühstücksraum und das Buffet sind zu klein (nicht das Frühstücksangebot) für die Größe des Hotels. Um 8 Uhr kam es zu Wartezeiten

Loved this hotel!!! The Hotel Akureyri Dynheimar is a firm favourite; its charm and character have been preserved and enhanced by clever interior design choices. The rooms are generous and very well-fitted. Our room had a large desk, a comfy armchair, a beautiful bathroom, and a king-size bed. The heated timber floors were a nice touch. This hotel is designed for comfort, and I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The hotel's location is neatly sandwiched between the old and new parts of the town. The hotel itself overlooks the water and is within easy walking distance of everything you could need. A lovely stop over, we only did one night here but I could have stayed forever!!

Fantastic hotel with a great atmosphere. The lounge area was very relaxing and the bar staff were great.

We had a great room, and the decor looked like a movie theater. Plus we had a guitar in our room which was fun. Very convenient location and comfy beds.

Property had a very cool/unique design aesthetic. Loved that each room had a movie quote on the board outside, was just fun. The room we booked was tiny, which we knew at booking. Definitely wouldn't recommend one of those small rooms if you are travelling with very large or multiple pieces of luggage. We has one medium sized suitcase which was a squeeze but fine. Breakfast was great but space is very limited even with people spilling out into the lobby to eat

Für eine Nacht absolut ausreichend, länger würde ich allerdings nicht bleiben wollen: - Baustellenlärm - Winziges (sehr winzig!) Zimmer; es gab keinen Platz für den Koffer - Hellhörig Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal freundlich. Dass das Zimmer SO klein ist, kommt auf den Fotos nicht rüber. Eigentlich habe ich damit kein Problem, hier wurde ich doch leicht klaustrophobisch. Praktisch sind auch die Parkplätze und die Nähe zur "Passage". Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt okay.

No complaints. Everything as expected.

Really cute hotel, nice location - very convenient for walking downtown. My only issue was the construction directly above our room and across the street that was very loud for the first couple hours we were there. It stopped around 5pm but started again around 7am. Good thing we were up early anyway, but not ideal if you want to sleep in.
