恐ろしく高評価で高価格の２つ星個人経営ホテルはリスキーだ。 わざと２人で予約したのに、あてがわれたのはスーツケースを広げられないほど狭いダブルの部屋。16㎡との表示だったが、どうみても10㎡しかない。日本の東横インみたいだ。（東横インの５割増し価格だけど） 翌日泊ったPousada de Viseuは、ここよりも安いのに部屋は倍の広さだったので、割高なんていうものではない。ぼったくりだ！ タンスやクローゼットも無く、ゴミ箱も無い。バスルームのアメニティはシャワーキャップ１つだけ、シャワールームはシャンプー兼用のポンプ式ソープ１つだけと２つ星らしい設備の貧弱さだ。 朝食は２つ星にしてはまずまずだが、フレッシュオレンジジュースを水で薄めてあったのに加えて、一般的に高価な食材が無い。宿代は近くの４つ星ホテルと同じなのに、質を落として誤魔化しているわけだ。 この姿勢が、このホテルの運営姿勢をよく表している。 ひとつ重要な情報だが、部屋に蟻除けの薬が置いてあった。 それでも、ベッドの上に蟻が徘徊していたので、虫がダメな人は絶対に避けた方が良いだろう。

Una hermosa propiedad, ambiente tranquilo, y el personal atento. El desayuno es excelente.

Great little hotel.would stay again. Good sense of humour re their notices in and about the lift. I enjoyed watching the trains go by.

Foi tudo ótimo. A única coisa que dificulta um pouco são as condições para o check in e para o check out - é difícil parar uma viatura numa rua estreita onde só passa um carro por vez para retirar ou colocar as malas.

Beautiful layout and rooms in this carefully renovated building. Looks very unpretentious from the outside but is a delight to explore inside.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The hotel is gorgeous. Our room was very quiet. The hotel is right in the center of regua, so it's very convenient. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Friendly, efficient

Our room was small but very functional. The historic features and careful restoration are beautiful and create such a unique experience. The only drawback was the noise level from guests who took phone calls in the common areas and small children and/or infants crying in rooms.

We loved this hotel! It was so nicely decorated and the building had so much charm. The rooms were large with very high ceilings. The breakfast was very good and the staff were all friendly.

Delightful renovated small hotel

Quarto confortável, boa cama, bom chuveiro. Bem localizado. Não tem estacionamento mas na foi difícil estacionar na rua bem perto.

This charming hotel punches way above its two-star rating, Lovely helpful and friendly staff, amazing breakfast, comfortable, scrupulously clean and thoughtfully-designed rooms offset the fact that the hotel backs onto the railway -- which is the only reason I can think of that the hotel hasn't earned another star. But in truth, there aren't that many trains (evenings are tranquil). An walk from the train station, the hotel is close to a number of good restaurants.

Lovely hotel and excellent breakfast with fresh local, seasonal produce. The only downside is the proximity to the rail line. Our room had a balcony which looked down onto the line directly. This would be great for those interested in watching trains, just not so good at 5:30am and 11pm (first and last trains) when you're trying to sleep. Staff also excellent - so helpful when we were organising onward travel.
