Just to rest your head, low budget.

Whilst we liked the hotel which was clean and comfortable it was a hot day and the room was very warm. It would have been helpful to a least have a fan in the room. The food at dinner and breakfast was good.

Wonderful stay! My wife and I, from San Francisco, in company with a cousin from Oceanside, California stayed here about three years ago while visiting my Brother, who lives here. I’m here this week to help him celebrate his birthday. It was a surprise for him so I planned to stay in the hotel for three days, not knowing if I would be able to stay at his house or not. The spare bedroom is his art studio normally. The entire staff of the hotel, from check in to restaurant and bar staff to housekeeping are friendly and efficient. The room and bath were spotless and clean.

The room was great, although it would have been better if there had been a fan. I visited during a heatwave and although there was a large window, a fan would have been much appreciated. The staff were always helpful, and I was grateful for the ice I was given whenever I asked for some.

Rooms clean and staff very helpful, good selection of evening meals and great beers.

Great reception staff . Clean room. It’s a bit dated , but it’s a good price point . All basics provided , WiFi, ample parking , decent food and drink . Stayed multiple times , would stay again .

Brilliantly dated hotel. We loved it.

We stayed on our wedding night and it was perfect. We booked the suite and were presented with a bottle of Prosecco on check in. Lovely hotel we will definitely be back

We had a good stay. The mattress was a bit hard and the pillows weren’t great but the staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant was very good.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good value. Blackout curtain would be handy but good little hotel.

Not a modern hotel but bags of charm and great food especially the breakfast😋

On the whole we enjoyed our stay. The food really and staff were very nice. The decor was a little dated and the room smelt a little musty, which wasnt really a problem. I was looking forward to having a bath after a 200 mile drive. Unfortunately there were black spots around the corners of the silicon on the edge of the bath. Then I turned the taps on I went back to the bath to check on it and there were things floating in the bath. I emptied it a tried again. I did this 4 times. Every time there was stuff coming out of the taps. When I brought it to the hotels attention. Is all they said was that there was repairs going on in the street and it could of been that. This happened the following evening too. As regards the matter the hotel staff were not very helpful but they were polite. When your paying for a suite I would have thought that they would of been able to help us a bit more. I ended up washing in the sink. The breakfast was very nice. I would consider staying there again. Please dont take this review as all bad. Everything else about the hotel was very nice as were the staff. It was just that they wasnt helpful with one issue. If I was staying there longer than 2 nights I would have asked for another room.
