建物自体は古いものですが、きれいにリノベートされています。階が上だったので、窓から海が見えました。ビーチにもバス停にも近くて満足していますが、一点、ヘアドライヤーを使うためのコンセントの位置が入口の扉のところという奇妙な場所で、使いづらかったです。

ブライトンの隣Kemptonに位置するホテル。きれいで少し奥にあり、窓から家々と海が眺められるのもいい。 コンパクトですべてきれいなので3泊のんびり過ごせました。鍵のやり取りもインターフォンで、基本人と接しないで過ごせます。 トイレは別なのでそれが嫌な方には合わないかも。あと鏡は日本人からすると少し高めですが気にならない程度です。 素敵でいろいろアクセスが良く良いホテルでした

Great Location. Warm Kind Staff．Award Winning selectable breakfast. Fashionable good taste interiors, basically matching white, which goes so well with the seaside ambiance. Comfortable bed. Very nice set of tea bags and snacks in the room. As is in most UK small size hotels, no lift, steep stairs and old building. But rennovated nicely with heartfelt handmade warmth. Breakfast time is limited but can be negotiated in advance.

My favourite place to stay

Nice room and great location, sadly let down by poor noise isolation and lack of en suite in single room. The guy above was completely inconsiderate - kept me awake until 3am. Don't stay here if you value a good night's sleep.

There is no lobby, no one to contact for any doubt, no restaurant or any amenities. I do not know why the score for the hotel is a 8.8, i would give the a 5 or below. Everything seems old, shady, insecure, dirty. We hated it.

Really enjoyed our stay , asked for an iron & one was delivered within 15 mins , would definitely stay again .

It was situated within walking distance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital which I needed to be at each day during my stay. Perfect for people needing to accompany loved ones having medical treatment away from home.

A nice bright room - walkable to most places of interest - nice pubs and varied eating options in St James Street

Booked for the August bank holiday weekend which is understandably a peak time, but honestly for the price which is more than I’ve paid in some central London Hilton’s the room was very small and basic. Damp around the windows, very poor water pressure and paper thin walls shared with 9 other rooms in the very steep building. This is an air bnb for very able bodied people due to the stairs. It is not a 4 star hotel and there is not reception. For some reason, entry codes work the second time each time you input them but not the first time. Tea and coffee making facilities are available but there’s no space for a mini fridge.

First impressions of the outside of the property was disappointing in need of tidying and it was very shabby. We stayed in room 3 which was a very large suite. We were upgraded to this room . The stairs were a challenge with our case. When we first got into the room the first thing I saw was a large piece of wall which had broken plaster exposed to the block and another hole in the wall and evidence of a leak in the ceiling. The room was very clean we had a queen size bed which was comfortable. There was plenty of space to sit and watch tv on a sofa. Tea coffee biscuits even chocolate which was a nice touch. A fridge which is very handy. Plenty of hangers for hanging your clothes. We had balcony which again needed Attention . Think this property has a few issues with plumbing needs some cosmetic jobs repairing. It is because this property is a very old building. We found we had a quiet sleep. It is just looking tired In places.

Honestly I would not stay here again. For the price of a hotel at 90 pounds a night I at least expected a toilet in my room. I did not read the fine print as it was so buried it gave you the impression of a nice hotel. The rooms are very small and it is not super clean. The showers don’t work very well and the water pressure needs some work. You could hear everything through the walls from your neighbors. Finally the building is very musty and the ceiling has mold and is coming down in spots. The stairs up and down to the rooms were extremely narrow and could present a fall hazard. I think had I known all this I would’ve stayed elsewhere.

Lovely little place not far from Keptown village. Only fault was that the room was very small.

Great location wherever you’re going around Brighton. The bed was joined singles which I noticed but still comfortable. Would stay again. To pick one negative, the shower didn’t drain properly so I showered in a deep puddle of water.

Cleanish rooms, good communication by phone when checking in. OK location, nice neighbourhood. But, rooms are tiny, hardly possible to open a suitcase. Difficult to navigate luggage up steep staircase. No air condition, no fridge and noisy street. Not what one expect from a hotel rated above 9. Overpriced. Not what we were looking for. Sorry.

Great sea view from the bedroom. Bedding and towel and shower spotlessly clean. Close to town centre and very close to view of the beach. Room size excellent for one. Shame the toilet and I realise there isn’t room, was along the hall. I got lucky as other tenants were quiet, not always guaranteed in Brighton. Everything concluded on text/email, didn’t see a member of staff. There is a telephone number to contact someone but I had no need of this service.
