Beautiful guest house in the heart of Buxton. Free parking on site. Lovely walk on the doorstep around the lake. Really good welcome and helpful information for my stay. Restaurants cafes and pubs in walking distance. Comfortable room with everything you could need. Nice soft towels and bed!

Arrived early and was not expecting to be met but was surprised to be met and given the key to our room so I can say from the moment we arrived through to when we left we were really looked after plus breakfast was brilliant.

Wonderful stay at Roseleigh, very friendly experienced staff, clean and comfortable rooms and a great location. Superb breakfasts with lots of choice including for Coeliacs. I would highly recommend.

The owners and staff were all friendly and conscientious. Even when I rushed out and had to ring the bell after 10pm I was greeted with friendliness. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone planning to stay in Buxton.

Very very good house and very nicely furnished with lots of character. Even better it was situated in perhaps the best possible location in Buxton, a lovely lake with good bird life and near all the sites.

Excellent accommodation close to all amenities, Breakfast well presented and served. Gerard was a great host full of information and helped us with evening dining options. 5*

Excellent b&b in a perfect location for a weekend break to see a concert at the Pavillion Arts Centre which was only a 10 minute walk away through the Pavillion gardens. Spotlessly clean. Great range of breakfast options, catering well for vegetarians and dairy free. The host, Gerard, could not have been more helpful with local information and recommendations to make our stay more enjoyable.

Beautiful period property, unique setting. The interior is first class too. Staff excellent. Definitely recommend.

This was a fantastic place to stay; clean, comfortable, spacious, and with a brilliant breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It is well located for everything in Buxton and well located for walks around, as well as ideally situated for much of the Peak district.

First class hotel in every respect. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Excellent. I generally don’t use guest houses, however Roseleigh far exceeded expectations . The hosts where friendly and full of knowledge of the local area. Room was sizeable, clean and comfortable and you won’t get a better breakfast anywhere. The hotel is a very short walk to the centre of Buxton.

Loved the stay at Roseleigh, it's in a great location next to Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. I thought they were a bit OTT on safety but I suppose this is a good thing and a sign of good intentions. The room (8) was lovely but there were two big chairs in there that were a bit in the way. I would love to go back and stay again.

Roseleigh is in a beautiful place over looking the park had a warm friendly welcome from Maggi and Gerard and they do their best to keep you covid safe, room warm clean and cosy, breakfast local produce and tasty all the staff at breakfast were lovely , I would really recommend Roseleigh Guest House

Beautiful, spotless guest house, wonderfully located. Room was big and comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Staff and owners, were highly professional and friendly, you couldn't fault them, nothing was too much trouble. And staff is paid according to living wages which is very important for my husband and myself.
