ホテルの受付は離れているし民泊している感じです。何日か過ぎた後、長期滞在なのでベットメイキングは4日に度1にしますとの手紙が置かれていたがそれは宿泊者側が決めることではないのか？と感じた。

I went out to my car to get my laptop took key out of the electric fitting when I tried to get back into the building it did not work . Walked up to reception. They asked for ID which I could not provide as all in my car . What a nightmare as they would not give me a new key card for around 1 hour ! What a joke

A nice,clean room and en-suite bathroom. Comfortable bed. Would have liked decaf tea. in room. There was no soap in the sink dispenser but there was in the shower one. Had to pay extra £1.50 for a small dollop of extra gravy with my Sunday roast!

It is convenient to park your car at this inn. Highland Gate is not the inn but the the restaurant. The Highland Gate restaurant and Marton's Inn are in two separate buildings. The inn's outside apearance and inside conditions are quite mediocre: carpet in the hallway looks dirty at every entrance to the room; there is no rack or shelve for suitcases though the room size is decent; the bathroom has a peculiar smell (not stinky but unpleasant to me), and the double bed (made of two single beds) sinks in so it is not comfortable. The breakfast is served in the restaurant. The quantity and quality are fine. We traveled in Scotland for 12 days by this date and had stayed in six different hotels and lodges before Highland Gate by Marton's Inn. We would rate the Marton's Inn at Highland Gate below average. Our first suggestion is to deep clean the carpets in the inn and the restaurant.

The bathroom in our room needed some maintenance, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very helpful but the location wasn’t great for us bc we were traveling without a car and this place is a little out of the way.

Good location on the outskirts of Stirling. Either use the local bus or walking into Stirling.

Convenient location. Our room was clean and comfortable and on the ground floor which was appreciated. Parking onsite. The hotel had great food for dinner, we didn’t try the breakfast. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. There was no fridge in the room which would have been nice as we were travelling and had food with us.

This was for me, a typical pub with rooms in an adjoins building. Access to the bedroom block was secure which was comforting and the room while much the same as similar properties was adequate. We chose continental breakfast for both mornings which was fine. The two one course evening meals were satisfying and the staff pleasant.

I always stop here when traveling from the south coast to north Scotland. Very easy and if you want a good restaurant riverside is a 5 min walk.

Hotel is looking very tired - could be an older Travel Lodge with Black Marks around the Bath and dated furniture - pillows not so comfy. Staff were so busy in the restaurant it took 15 mins to get a drink and food was poor - I had steal which was so tough and dry it was like sole of shoe and instead of providing a refund only took 30% off that course despite not eating it. Breakfast was the same! The Black Pudding could have been sued as frisbees!

Great restaurant and friendly staff but the hotel is across the road and felt like a refurbished seniors care home. The rooms need a serious update so they don’t feel like a hospital room.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent with great service, room was quiet and comfortable. Recommended

Très bien situé pour être vite sur la route et tout proche de Stirling. A 5min en voiture du château. Le petit déjeuner est excellent! Il y a une proposition sucrée sous la forme d’un buffet et une carte sur laquelle vous commandez pour le salé. Tout est très bon. Nous y avons également mangé les deux soirs. L’équipe est top et la nourriture très bonne. La chambre est de très bonne taille. Même si l’on est tout prêt de la route c’est très bien isolé.

Perfect for our overnight stay. Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed and no outside noise from traffic. Lovely breakfast. Polite staff.
