Was so central to the shops, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance

Hi there, the staff managing The Caledonian Inn were friendly and welcoming. The accomodation was clean and modernised with onsite parking close to the local cafes, restaurants, hotels and the Loop walk leading to the Lighthouse and the surrounding Shearwaters Colony. A great experience. Thank you

First time staying there, we were very impressed with the motel and staff were very friendly and helpful. Had tea at the stump next door the food and staff were amazing could not fault anything with our stay, we will be back to visit again 10/10.

Such a great place

The rooms/units are adjacent to the pub which has outdoor speakers mounted along every wall - music going from time checked in till after 10.30p - loud enough that heavy rain & the tv didn’t drown it out

Historical hotel, kept up to the nice quality!

The room was comfortable and fairly clean, and the central location on Main Street was very convenient. The only issue was the noise at night due to the bar and restaurant—loud music and crowds until around 12–1 AM. It might have been worse because we visited during Easter.

Clean room

The room was clean and smelled fresh. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. However, there was one issue. We booked a double room with one queen bed, but were given a room with one queen bed and one single bed instead, that is fine, but the room was also in a less desirable location — it was next to the bar and facing the hotel entrance, so it was a bit noisy.

Comfortable and very clean accommodation. My room felt secure and safe while travelling on my own. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Only spent one night at the Caledonian Inn, but would have been happy with more. Our room was newly renovated and in great condition. Large and lots of room for bags. The bathroom was also very large, had a great shower and more shelf space that in any other hotel room we've stayed in. The mattress was really comfortable. Solid wifi available throughout. Checkin was a breeze. No need to contact the hotel in advance, you can just approach staff at the bar. We dined at the pub and the food was good. We stayed on a Thursday night, so it wasn't so loud, but the hotel does let guests know there is loud music on a Friday and Saturday.
