Great hotel in such a beautiful and unique location. We loved hiking the nuns path down into the town below. Great place to stay for hiking Pico Grande and PR1. We miss the beautiful view from the pool & spa already!

Beautiful property with amazing views. Take the hike up from the valley it’s worth the walk. Food was ok, and you will find better in the valley and this is only a minor point. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend spending a night there.

Hotellet mangler generelt et “female touch”, hvor der er mere fokus på detaljen. F.eks. bliver morgenmads buffeten ikke “passet” under morgenmads serveringen kl. 8-10, så den ender med at blive lidt rodet. Desværre kan alle de varme retter, der tilbydes, tilsyneladende ikke holdes varme, så alt serveres koldt. Virkelig ærgerligt, for udvalget er fint. Spaen er virkelig fin, ren og velordnet. Husk at booke sauna eller dampbad (mod rimelig betaling), hvis du vil bruge de faciliteter. Værelserne er store - omend lidt “køligt” indrettet, med det manglende female touch. MEN beliggenheden opvejer det hele! Der fører en sti op bag ved hotellet, der ender i en udsigtsplatform. Gå endelig ikke glip af denne mulighed for at få en Fantastisk udsigt over Nonnernes Dal.

The location deserves the highest praise, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the view was disappointing as it overlooked the spa roof rather than the valley. The shower was excellent, although there was no bathtub. Breakfast was very basic, though this may be intentional to avoid overwhelming choice. The spa facilities themselves are great, but opening hours are limited to 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Since we were out most of the day, we had to rush back in order to use them. In my opinion, hotel guests should receive either free or discounted access to the spa. Dinner was decent but very expensive, with extra charges for side dishes adding up quickly. If you have the chance, I would recommend dining in Funchal or the surrounding areas, where prices are much more reasonable.

Our stay Eira do Serrado Hotel & SPA was amazing. It was our final lodgings after 8 days on the island and was the perfect way to end out trip. The view are spectacular, super friendly and helpful staff and the restaurants food was incredible! We will definitely be back the next time we have a chance to visit Madeira!

Great views, nice staff, great stop for The Nun’s walk and Pico Ariero. Great to have a sauna and hot tub for after. Especially in February!

Schwierig zu erreichen, Hotel selbst eher unter Durchschnitt, Frühstück sehr schlecht. Umgebung sehr schön.

Belle vue

Excellent stay, wonderful views that were worth it by itself. My favourite part was lying on the sofa looking at the clouds pour from the mountains. But a couple of things couple could be improved. The spa facilities were not good enough. The sauna wasn’t hot enough, and the jacuzzi did not look clean. Also the big TV in the room didn’t have many working channels, they did have a lot of regional German and Austrian channels though. So bring a HDMI cable and hook your device if you want to stream anything. The staff were wonderful however and the restaurant was good.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Maar het hotel mag wel wat aandacht krijgen kwa onderhoud.

Le cadre avec vue panoramique des montagnes est magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner est très bien avec du choix. Possibilité de diner au restaurant de l'hôtel avec une cuisine locale et de qualité, l'équipe du restaurant est très sympathique et serviable. Le jacuzzi était parfait après une journée de visite, si la piscine était aussi chauffée cela aurait été un plus. Merci pour l'accueil, à recommander.

The hotel is in a beautiful location but it advertised it has air conditioning - it does not. There were no fans available either. If air conditioning is a requirement, don’t book this hotel.

Wat verouderd hotel met schitterende ligging. Het restaurant is middelmatig, het ontbijt ook, het zwembad is klein maar heel mooi.
