Easily one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The location is spectacular with awesome views from the balcony. Many at times, we just ordered room service and had dinner in the balcony as the view is so awesome and experiences just first class. Martina and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. The room service selection is good and comes without any extra charge. A good fallback in case you’re too tired to go out. Location is appropriate for Quik trips around the town. The main bus stop is around 10 minutes uphill and takes you to wherever you want to go, both within Positano as well as different cities. The staff is very helpful with suggestions on how to go about your day and plan for maximal enjoyment. To summarize, I cannot emphasize how good this total experience was for us. Strongly recommend.

The family owned hotel people were the best. Always with a happy greeting, glad to help with anything. Restaurant reservations, personal drivers, taxi’s and recommendations for places to visit. Loved our room, view, breakfast prompt in the morning, bar in hotel. We are really looking forward to returning to our hotel soon.

The family was just wonderful! Very accommodating and friendly. The place is nice and very quiet. The views are breathtaking!!

Perfect stay for legendary Positano

Loved my stay at this hotel. The staff was perfect and my room, Comfort Room, had a patio with a lemon tree and swa views. I could've stayed another 2 months. :)

We stayed at Hotel Gabbiano 3 nights We loved our stay, views were gorgeous, staff super friendly & helpful , giving us great information Breakfast was great It was 15 -30 minutes walk to main square, of course lots of steps & up and down , but this Positano after all We would definitely stay here if we ever come to Posatino again ❤️🙏

Great hotel. Clean, quiet, amazing terrace. Great breakfast every morning delivered to your room. Friendly staff. We loved our beautiful visitors Cats would come to our terrace and hang with us.

All was great , hotel is in a nice location that we liked a lot , I put 4 star for Staff , just because the lady at the reception was a little too serious and argumentative, although she was helpful and at the end didn’t charge us for water , but we were afraid of asking her for anything!! The younger lady was super nice and friendly, in general we are happy and pleased.

Nice experience

The good: The hotel is VERY clean. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the common areas. We also liked the location and the balcony in our room. The walk up to the hotel from the port/beach is very daunting especially with luggage, but that’s an issue in Positano as a whole. The A/C worked well in the room, which was a huge plus for us during an extremely hot time of year The not so good: The walls are incredibly thin. We could hear everything in the rooms next door and in the hallways. We were stuck next to some noisy families so it was pretty loud throughout our stay. We were also pretty disappointed by the lack of working wifi. Not sure if the wifi was only working in certain areas, but it didn’t work AT ALL for us during our stay. We were also disappointed by the up-charge for cooked eggs for breakfast. Having to give our key to the front desk every day before leaving the hotel was kind of weird as well. And it would have been nice to have some help from the front desk to help arrange a porter service for our bags.

Great hotel. Would highly recommend. Very thankful they had parking as it is very difficult in Positano to park. Fantastic food and great breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean with a great view. Very central.

Loved everything about this stay. Everyone was hospitable. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Breakfast was perfect and on time everyday. Not too far up from main attractions. I will be back!

We were super impressed with this hotel. I wasn’t sure what to expect based on pictures, so I was pleasantly surprised with the rooms, service and overall stay. The location was perfect. The staff was friendly. They arranged private transportation for us which went great as well!

The hotel was very beautiful with a view of the Sea. Balcony was a great addition to sit down in the morning and have breakfast. In the evening after dinner the calm night was spectacular. The local bus was great to use to get around. Stairs are located nearby of you want a 15 minute cardio fix.

Great lovely little hotel! Definitely recommend if you're visiting Positano. Perfect location, fantastic view from the rooms, super nice staff, rooms were very clean and refurbished. 100% recommend
