立地が最高。そのためだけでも泊まる価値あり。

朝方、夕方は寒いので早めにヒーターを付けた方がいいです。 服装も、少なくとも長袖に上着を羽織るくらいは着た方がいいぐらいでした。(5月上旬) 日中は細かい雨が降ったり止んだり晴れたりと天候がよく変わっていたため対応できる用意をしていくといいと思います。 1階にはショップがあり、お土産や軽食、トレーナーや、上着などのグッズも売っています。 トレイルの合間に自室で休憩できるので最高に便利でした。

トイレットペーパーを流すと詰まる、シャワーは30分水を流さないとお湯が出ない。 立地は最高だが、2回目はない。

噴火口が近くに見えて、とても良い経験が出来ました

火山の火口が見える部屋に宿泊しました。 部屋からは日中は煙が見え、夜は赤い炎？が見えました。 チェックアウト時間が12時なので、朝から散歩も楽しめました。 朝食は別料金でブッフェを利用しました。ブッフェを利用しないなら予め食料を持参したほうがいいかと思います。テレビはありません。シャワーヘッドは固定式です。 水は有料で1$です。コーヒーメーカーがあり、コーヒー/紅茶等置いてあり飲めます。 せっかく行くならホテルに滞在して自然の躍動を感じるのもいいかと感じました。

キラウエア火山が見れる唯一無二のホテル。 クラシカルなロビーが落ち着いて、火山のエネルギーを満喫できるホテル

ホテル自体は古き良き山小屋という感じです。よく掃除されていますが、窓や網戸は木枠で古さは否めません。 しかし窓からキラウエアの火口を直接眺める事が出来、レストランやバー、ギフトショップも充実していてます。なにより観光の拠点に泊まる事で、刻々と変わる火口の様子やトレッキングを気軽に楽しむ事ができました。是非お薦めします。

公園内の唯一無二のホテルでロケーションは抜群です。部屋からの火口の景色が最高です。レストランの食事も美味しく、また泊まってみたいと思います。

Fantastic location - service below average

Staying on the volcano rim was amazing - the view from volcano house is spectacular - access to the walking tracks is at your doorstep. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Staff were super helpful.

Beds were very uncomfortable, no hot water, check-in didn’t provide us any info, book info in room was water stained and couldn’t read. Bathroom extremely small. Need a major update.

There was no air conditioning so all of the cool air had to come from outside... The screens in our room were ripped so anything that wanted in could come in... Other than that, it was a great stay with a very nice and helpful staff..

Amazing view

The Volcano House is a historic hotel in a beautiful location. You can’t get any closer to staying near the volcano crater. You can see Halemau’mau crater from your window. The breakfast buffet is delicious. The staff is very nice. The only drawback is the hotel rooms haven’t been modernized in a long while. Carpet, furniture and bathroom are worn and had a strong musty smell. Also no refrigerator in room.

The views were amazing. The hotel was like stepping back in time and was very quaint. Two gift shops offered plenty of volcano-themed souvenirs. The restaurant served an amazingly fresh and delicious buffet breakfast, which we enjoyed while watching the volcano. The omelet chef prepared delicious eggs of your choice right before our eyes. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but they were still lovely!

It sa awesome to see the volcano and nice to stay in colon house . Highly recommended

Great location for hiking. But during an eruption zero priority is given to volcano house paid guests.
