Interesting old manor. Guests can wander through the gardens and beautiful old manor rooms. There is a nice swimming pool area in the gardens. The estate produces an excellent white wine. You can preorder diner on most days but there are only 8 guest rooms so there may not be many takers. A car is needed as the estate is out of town. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. This is an old house so it takes some time for the hot water to come through to the shower and the dining and communal sitting room could be drafty in cold weather. The rooms have air conditioning/heating units. Wonderful historic house.

La demeure est magnifique et nous transporte délicieusement dans un autre siècle. Le superbe, et très grand jardin est une surprise additionnelle, ainsi que la terrasse attenante où se prennent les petits déjeuners. L’hote Jose un descendant de la famille, qui possède le vignoble et la propriété parle couramment français et est d’une grande courtoisie. Enfin, ce qui ne gâte rien, le vinho Verde primé de la propriété est délicieux et très abordable.

Ya habíamos estado… genial, como siempre. La habitación muy cómoda y el desayuno perfecto!! Lo mejor la piscina… y el perro!!

La casa es preciosa, muy antigua y llena de historia. El desayuno muy bueno y la piscina genial. Vale la pena vivir una experiencia así. Volvería sin dudarlo!!

Nice rural location, nice welcome from hostes with estate wine, breakfast in the veranda was excellent with personalized choices. No air conditioning was an issue for us, windows helped but allowed for mosquitoes and insects to enter.

Estadia cinco estrelas. Quarto lindíssimo com papel de parede antigo e muito bem conservado. Cama de casal com dossel. Pequeno-almoço na varanda com vista Deslumbrante para o jardim e para a piscina muito bem servido um café expresso e sumo de laranja. Vinhos verdes produzidos no local com qualidade e preço. Parabéns

belle demeure au calme à qq km de GUIMARAES (avoir une voiture) facile à trouver. Tout l'hôtel est meublé de style ancien (il faut aimer). Très agréable jardin à l'arrière avec jolie piscine au beau cadre de verdure. Très reposant (même si on entend le bruit de fond de l'autoroute). Accueil sympa. Petit déjà? servi à table très complet avec oeufs et bacon. Satisfait à 85%. Mention spéciale au petit chien Gourri !!!

Staying in this place is like going back 300 years in time. The manor is well kept. The room was large and clean and the lady who received us charming and helpful. The surrounding gardens are beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer

I liked that it is a very unique historical property.

A very lovely place with centuries of history, well preserved and very authentic. We loved to stay in the big garden with pool, and to have both the breakfast and dinner on the beautiful and spacious veranda. Sezim is also a wine producer (vinho verde), we tasted some as the welcome drink and can absolutely recommend this as well. They sell the wines from the reception.

Et gammelt vinslot med charme. Imødekommende vært der tog vare om sine gæster. To himmelsenge der knirkede, og var så høje, at man ikke kunne nå gulvet. Haven kunne godt trænge til en kærlig hånd. Fik en af de bedste hvidvine jeg nogensinde har smagt, med masser af frugt og sødme, uden at være for sød, men maden har meget at leve op til.

A propriedade é linda, os funcionários são educados e atenciosos, o quarto que ficamos era muito espaçoso e confortável, banho ótimo, toalhas boas. Ganhamos um vinho verde reserva de boas vindas, que é feito lá e é ótimo Também. Foi uma ótima estadia, principalmente terminar as tardes tomando um vinho na piscina com a vista linda.

Não fiquei hospedado, pois as condições de conservação do hotel estavam ruins. Hotel bonito, bem localizado para quem está com carro, mas com instalações rusticas, antigas, móveis com cheiro forte, que pode causar problemas em quem tem alguma sensibilidade e alergia...
