The staff was amazing! Please do yourself a favor and stay in one of Iceland’s oldest operating hotels. Treat yourself to The Magistrate, a lamb burger, it’s delicious!

Highly recommend, if you are looking for a comfortable place, unique accommodation, and great food, this is the place to stay!

We stayed in the church apartment and it was an amazing experience! So fun! But there was a kitchen with no way to heat food… and the stairs to the bathroom were a ladder! Just beware. Totally worth it!

Ocean View and breakfast included

Hotel muy cómodo y limpio no cuenta con TV en habitación.

Check in was simple. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and cozy.

Very scenic setting. Good place to view the northern lights.

This place is a gem. The hotel is spotless, right on the ocean, and has a lovely little restaurant with sunset views that is very good. They were able to accommodate gluten free diets, which is important for me as someone with celiac. And the views were incredible.

Room was excellent with great views over river. However the outside light on the deck could not be turned off and would have liked to especially in order to have better opportunity to see the northern lights with darker skies. Food in restaurant was excellent but would have preferred it to be hotter in temperature but personal opinion.

Really beautiful Cape Cod like cottage near a black sand beach and walking trail which is a great stop along the ring road. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and at least one hotel cat. Very beautiful sunny day while there.

Nice and quiet location. Has heaters throughout the apartment that kept the place nice and warm through the cold weather. Friendly helpful staff at reception. Standard breakfast.

Hotel limpio y tranquilo, no demasiado caro para los standard islandeses. En un entorno espectacular, a unos metros del mar. Desayuno incluido, estaba todo muy bueno. No tiene ascensor a las habitaciones, pero el personal te ofrece ayuda con el equipaje si es necesario. Muy recomendable.
