Sheila is a wonderful hostess. Very attentive and personable. I was the last guest of the season and had the place to myself. Well managed and very well located. Highly recommend.

The owner is very accommodating. Breakfast was quite good. Room was comfortable.

Sheila was very helpful and made a fantastic breakfast in the morning. They have a lovely farm you can walk around. Any information you would need they would be more than helpful to provide you.

We had a great stay at the White Heather Farmhouse. The room was fine with a comfortable bed. Best of all, Sheila was a wonderful host and she provided us was a solid breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!

This was one of the top highlights of my trip to Ireland. The farm is lovely (enjoy petting the cows and baby lambs!) and the owner/hostess (Sheila) is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She also makes an excellent Irish breakfast. Seriously, don’t miss this place.

We broke a cardinal sin of B&Bs, arrived later than expected, at 7:30 pm due to many factors... however, we were greeted with several pronouncements, we were late(yes we were), we interrupted her dinner, she didn't think we were coming, she missed Mass because of us ( it was Saturday), she doesn't take credit cards (told us several times "it was in the contract", and since we booked last year the rate went up and it's 10 more euros per night. Well hello to you too. Rooms were adequate, the sheep on the farm were very entertaining, and breakfast was wonderful. She was super friendly the rest of our stay, but beware CASH ONLY

Staying here was the most wonderful experience of our trip to Ireland!

It was generally a good stay. Older facility but in nice shape. The shower was so so, although good hot water. They didn’t take credit cards for payment, it had to be in cash. Be sure to get the eire code, or your gps will take you to the wrong place. Good breakfast.

Si soggiorna in una vera farm irlandese. Camere un po' datate, ma comode e silenziose. Sheyla, la host, è stata gentilissima e premurosa e prepara la colazione per gli ospiti al momento. Ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare Kenmare, Glengarriff e tutta la penisola del Beara.

Fabulous hosts and location nice.

This was one of our stops as we toured the wild Atlantic Way. The hosts were very communicative, and accommodating around our arrival time. Fantastic experience to stay on a local farm who served a traditional Irish breakfast. While we are not a fan of white and black pudding, we loved the experience. The views were stunning, and we loved the resident cows.

The room was pretty dirty with cobwebs all over. The owner was very nice.

White Heather Farmhouse is a few minutes drive from Kenmare - in the country but convenient to everything. There is farmland all around, so it’s peaceful and quiet - we had a heifer outside our window! The hostess, Sheila, was so knowledgeable about the area - she had lots of great recommendations of where to visit. And the breakfast was great as well - the perfect way to start the day! Highly recommended!

Quaint and quiet location in the countryside. We were able to accomplish The Ring of Kerry and the City of Killarney by car from here.
