Great small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff!

Pros: Central location, friendly staff Cons: Poor noise insulation; inconvenient for drivers, their parking lot is $12/day; tiny room with an odd smell; lack of basic amenities (no body lotion or tissues); disappointing breakfast quality and limited variety

très décevant ! A FUIR on commence par un accueil où l’on doit s’enregistrer en « self-service », tout seul devant un QR code à se dém… avec son smartphone, et l’employé qui nous regarde galérer sans bouger le petit doigt! ensuite vous montez vous-même vos valises au troisième étage (sans ascenseur), pas évident à 70 piges puis surprise (désagréable+++) de voir que chambre à deux lits simples, alors que j’avais bien précisé que nous fêtions notre anniversaire de mariage… puis vous buvez votre bouteille d’eau, offerte mais chaude, car mini-frigo de la chambre en panne ensuite vous devez sortir pour diner, resto de l’hotel fermé 2 soirs en semaine, quartier attrape-touristes avec restos à menu en 5 langues le lendemain, petit déjeuner frugal, soyez matinaux, passé 9h30 plus de pain ni croissants et surtout si vous venez en voiture, nous avons dû nous garer à 700 metres et trainer nos valises, le centre-ville est un dedale avec rues interdites aux non-locaux et pas de places de parking à l’hotel en gros hotel à éviter, nous sommes habitués à un autre niveau de services pour le prix (plus de 200 euros fin septembre) Soller est une jolie ville et nous y reviendrons, mais dans un hôtel plus confortable et accueillant, l’hotel el guia ne mérite pas sa place dans le guide du routard, je les en informerai en espérant que mon commentaire servira à d’autres clients, heureusement cet hotel fut la seule déception de tout notre circuit de 15 jours!

Très calme , et personnel très serviable

Stayed here for 5 nights, it was central to everything in the city and the staff was very kind. The bathroom door was a little tough to open/ close but not a big deal. Bedroom was bigger than expected and our room (206) has a couch which was really nice. Would definitely return in the future.

Nothing to dislike. Hotel lovely and clean. Lovely little pool area. Great location. Staff exceptional. Hotel restaurant food amazing, best paella we have had.

Property is in a prime location. Walking distance to the Plaça and the train. Restaurant service is second to none. We were highly impressed particularly with Fran. He is so devoted and kind to everyone.

Meget venligt og serviceminded personale. Fint værelse med god seng (vær 303) og stort badeværelse. Lækker udvalg af mad og drikke i restauranten til rimelig pris. Fin lille pool. Ingen støjgener. Alt i alt et fint og centralt beliggende hotel.

Friendly and welcoming staff. As if you are coming home. Location excellent with the “ tramzia” just a small block away and the center plaza is another block away.

I love staying at this hotel and have on numerous occasions now. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are lovely. I highly recommend it.

Very convenient and friendly staff.

The Hotel El Guia was perfect for our few days in Soller. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable and the pool was just what we needed at the end of a hot day. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Lovely little place to stay in ideal place in Soller and super clean and super safe

We really enjoyed our stay! The central location was perfect and made it easy to explore the area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made a great impression. A couple of small things to note: the beds were a bit firm for our liking, and parking instructions could have been clearer. Also, the shower could use some repairs, though it was still usable. Overall, a pleasant stay with a lot of positives — we’d consider coming back!

In the heart of Soller you cannot find a better location to discover the surrounding town, including the port. It is a nice central location to take all the amazing hiking trails. They have a great number of options for breakfast that are affordable with a gorgeous patio and back patio with pool and lounge chairs.

Just loving it since six years. Very friendly and obliging staff, cute hotel in typical majorcan style, delicious dinner (also typical majorcan). And the place is very good for reaching the tren (100m), as well as restaurants and the placa (200m) with all the shops and night life. But the hotel is situated in a small side street, so it's quiet as well!
