建物がアパートメントなのでかなり使い方が分かりづらいインターフォンで会話をしてからでないと建物に入る事すらできない。 シャワールームには扉が無いので洗面やトイレの床が水浸しになります。 チェックインが終わると受付には誰も居なくなるのでチェックアウト時はルームキーをカウンターに置いて帰るだけです。

今回の旅のメイン目的地であるバチカン市国から徒歩10分以内の場所でとても便利でした。 周辺にはレストランなどのおいしい飲食店も豊富、お買い物もできて立地が便利！ お部屋もキレイで広く、スタッフの方にもとてもよくしていただけました。 ローマを訪れる際はまた利用したいです。

立地はとても良かったです。 バチカンにも歩いていける距離で、 メトロもそばにありました。 部屋も温度調節が自由にできるところが 良かったです。 ただ、レセプションに人がいないことが 多かったのは、残念でした。

Great location near the Vatican, great choices for food and shopping nearby. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and air conditioned with a fridge for keeping drinks cool. Ideal for a city getaway.

Near Vatican

Unprofessional and Rude My friend and I were cooking dinner when the power went out. We called the manager, who was immediately rude despite our polite tone. She said we had no right to use the stove, even though another staff member had told us it was fine. We asked for help, and I mentioned we’d leave a bad review if ignored. Minutes later, she arrived with a man who quickly fixed the issue. What followed was shocking. The manager accused us of being rude in texts — fair enough. But the man began berating us, bringing up unrelated topics. When he found out we were Canadian, he said our tone was “Trumpism” and that he hoped to “invade our country” and have us working at Tim Hortons forever. This was completely inappropriate and had nothing to do with the situation. We’re two young women, and while we could’ve been more polite, his response was bullying and misogynistic. After this, the manager changed her tone, asking us to write a good review and promising to help us anytime — the opposite of her earlier attitude. I wouldn’t stay here again. The staff were unprofessional and the way we were treated was unacceptable.

I booked a room at Les Chambres D'or in Rome from 19 July to 22 July. I was never informed that I needed to confirm my arrival time, and I assumed, as with most hotels, that reception would be available 24 hours a day. Travel plans are often unpredictable, and I expected the hotel to accommodate late arrivals. On 19 July, while traveling by train, I had poor internet connection and could not contact the hotel. I arrived at the property at approximately 23:30, only to find the hotel closed. When I rang the bell, I was told to wait outside on the street at midnight. I was alone and felt unsafe. I waited for about 30 minutes until I sought help from nearby police officers, who called the hotel manager (or possibly the owner). When she arrived, she informed me that check-in closed at 21:00. If this rule exists, why was I not notified in advance? She also demanded that I pay an extra €50 because I arrived late. I have never encountered such a policy, and typically, hotels offer compromises or assistance in such situations, not additional fees—especially when the stay has already been prepaid. The manager was also rude and requested documents I had never been asked to provide before. I did not feel safe or comfortable staying at this hotel and had to find another hotel in Rome around 1:00 a.m., which cost me all of my remaining funds. If such strict rules exist, they should have been clearly indicated on the website and communicated to me directly via email or messaging apps

Great place to stay

Accommodation was convenient - close to Train station/ quiet place/ basic facilities available such as a kettle, mini-fridge, good AC, laundry if you require it, nice staff who interacted with us at the property and changed towels and made beds. several restaurants, shopping area nearby, convenience to walk to several spots. I liked the little supermarket for groceries and water, etc... Grom gelato and crepes were awesome! One negative: Particularly had to enter an unpleasant telephone interaction with "manager" who wrongly insisted on charging my card for city taxes (way above what was on my invoice from Expedia) despite my explanations. This was not fun at all. I received the refund after all and Expedia was helpful to resolve it. However not a pleasant experience. Refer to set table for city taxes for Rome for this property and work out the details and the currency equivalent ahead of your trip as I did to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Watch your invoices and insist on a receipt (I was not given one by the hotel despite requesting and demanding one), some properties are not registered with the city and therefore... you can decide. Please ensure everyone understands the currency. It could be significant when you have a number of people in the party and staying for at least 10 days. Other than that, I want to remember the positives which was at least 90%. The staff at the accommodation were really nice, kind, friendly and helpful and I thank them for it.
