スプリット旧市街を囲む城壁の北東の隅に建つかつての櫓?の最上階が3室のアパートメントになっていました。部屋はきれいで、共同のキッチン・バスルームも使いやすかったです。アパートメントなので、事前に大体の到着時間を(Expediaのメッセンジャー機能で)知らせておき、宿主が来たところで鍵の受け渡しと部屋の使用説明、支払を行います。約束した時間に正確だったのと、お勧めのレストラン情報を含む丁寧な説明が印象的でした。冷蔵庫に冷やしてあったウェルカム・ドリンク(大きなペットボトルの水と1リットルのジュース)は、夏に外を歩き回った者としては大変ありがたかったです。

こちらもホテルではなくSOBE(=貸部屋)です。建物は築数百年で部屋は傾いています。階段しかなくスーツケースを運ぶには相当大変です。チェックイン時、毎日ハウスキーピングの方が掃除に来ると言っていましたが3日間掃除された形跡はありませんでした。ごみ箱もなくオーナーにメールで依頼しなくてはなりませんでした。バスルーム、キッチンは共同で鍋や食器、スポンジは清潔とは到底言えません。パスルームも誰かがシャワーを使っているときはトイレに行けないというつらい状態でした。唯一良かったのは立地です。街の中心にあること。長距離バスターミナル、船の発着地点、街中心部はのアクセスはとても良かったです。Splitの街は街もまたその周辺の島々への拠点としても良い街です。

５月１７日宿泊しました。ロケーションで選びましたが、部屋はシンプルですが清潔、窓からスプリットの街とアドリア海の眺めが良かったです。観光から戻った後私の勘違いでアパートの鍵が開けられず、止む無くオーナーに来て貰いましたがとても親切に対応してくれました。アパートメントに宿泊するのは初めてでしたが、ここは正解でした。　２６/MAY/２０１５

ほぼ宮殿に隣接しており、30分くらいの空き時間でも、充分に散歩を楽しんで部屋に戻ることができる。共用のキッチンで簡単な料理を作ることができるので、朝は、卵焼きなどを作っていました。オーナーのユメコさんも、とても親切で、次もぜひ泊まりたいです。

ウエルカムフルーツ、ドリンクなど心配りが素晴らしい。

場所は城壁に近くどこに行くにも便利です。 予約後、当日中に着けない事態となり、その旨を連絡したところ、朝5:00前の到着になったにもかかわらず鍵を渡してくれるためにお父さんが待っていてくれたことがとても印象的でした。 その日の夕方に別の場所に移動だったのですが出発まで居て良いと言ってくれたのも有難かったです。 また、お父さんはとてもフレンドリーで到着後、観光客の居ない早朝の城壁内を案内してくれ、いろいろ説明してくれました。ゆっくり泊まることは出来なかったけれど得した気分になれ、次くることがあれば利用したいと思いました。

Très bel Appartement situé idéalement aux portes de la vieille ville et à moins de 10 minutes de la gare routière. Le séjour était très agréable et notre hôte disponible et bienveillante.

The location of this apartment was amazing, only a few steps from one of the entrances of Diocletian’s palace. The size of the apartment was good for us 5, was clean, and had a washing machine that is important for us to travel light. The furniture and decoration were modest, but it was comfortable to stay there.

Not a nice place

Perfect central location for Old Town. Convenient shops and restaurants nearby. We knew from the booking and reviews to expect stairs, so were not at all surprised or disappointed, but this is not a place to stay for someone who struggles with stairs. However, because we were high up, we had GREAT views of the city from our stairs. Nightly concerts played music but not too late and closing windows effectively blocked sounds. A/C kept us comfortable all night. Overall great stay.

Fantastic apartment in perfect central location. Yes the view from the toilet seat is just as amazing as others have said.

This apartment is in a great location just a couple of minutes' walk from the main sites of Split which means you can get there early before the crowds. It also has a great little coffee stand downstairs and a bakery/supermarket close by for breakfast items. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and the hosts were attentive. As others have commented, there are lots of stairs up to the apartment, so this is not for anyone unprepared for that. The bedrooms are well proportioned, though the communal space is very small if you intend to spend much time indoors (we didn't except for one rainy afternoon) and there is no outside space, e.g. a balcony. The air conditioning was highly appreciated as it was very hot. The only downside for us was that it could be noisy sometimes which is probably to be expected so close to town. There was a large crowd in the apartment downstairs that partied into the night (Split is definitely a party town in August). And there was a nightly concert in the park next door which should have finished at 11pm each night but didn't always, and there was other music going until the early hours. As cars are not permitted in Split itself, there are drop-off points around the city for deliveries for restaurants etc, and one of these points is below the apartment. So, great apartment in superb location with friendly hosts, but take earplugs if going in high season and a light sleeper.

Very nice hosts that arranged a taxi from the airport and also met up outside the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and we can recommend this apartment. It’s small but charming. The location was five star.

Excellent location. Cheap and cheerful. Functional. Clean. Squeaky uncomfortable beds and lots of stairs. Overall good value for money and a nice welcome

Our stay with In The Palace was so memorable. We couldn’t believe we would be staying in one of the palace towers!! The owner, Sanja, is very kind and accommodating. She is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet!! She made us feel like family and we felt welcomed the moment we meet her. She was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived and checked in with us later to make sure we had all we needed. We rented the entire apartment so it was incredibly spacious for the three of us. It’s so cute, clean and in a fantastic location with beautiful views of Split. The beds and linens are very comfortable, and the showers has ample room and water pressure. The apartment is just steps way from the Fish market, Green Market, grocery stores, along with restaurants, sights, shops and the ocean. We are looking forward to another stay with Sanja!!

It is very nice little place right on the corner of the Palace. Good walking distance to everything.

Posizione dell'appartamento magnifica, sulle mura di cinta del palazzo di Diocleziano. Appartamento pulito, camere confortevoli e staff gentile ed attento alle esigenze dei viaggiatori. Torneró!

chambre très bien située quand on est piéton puisque dans la zone piétonnière sur le palais dioclétien, nous avions choisi cette chambre car il y avait soit disant un parking payant hors il n'y a pas de parking ! il s'agit d'un petit parking de ville où il est très difficile de trouver une place puisque la ville est bondée de monde en été !!! si nous avions su cela avant nous n'aurions jamais choisi cette chambre !! néanmoins une fois garé ( à 1 euro de l'heure tout de même) on peut tout faire à pied; la chambre est propre climatisée, nous avons été très bien reçu avec une bouteille d'eau et de jus de fruits dans le frigo, frigo et congélo appréciable en été même si nos voisins ne fermaient pas leurs bouteilles d'eau et que l'eau coulait depuis le frigo dans toute la cuisine, obligé d'éponger pour les autres ! mais ça ce n'est pas de la faute de l'hôtelier.

Lejlighedens belligenhed er helt ideel, midt i den gamle bydel i split tæt på både færgehavnen og stranden. Lejligheden er også fin, men der kan være lidt kamp om badeværelset med de andre beboere om morgenen.

The owner was very friendly, helpful and flexible in getting us checked in. She provided a very clean home-away-from-home experience. There were 3 rooms with beds for 6 (plus the couch looked like it could hold 1-2). The location is fantastic - on the third floor in the NE corner of Diocletian's Palace. Wonderful!
