There was no kettle so I had to pay for hot water.

The location was amazing! But that is about it. The sheets had stains on them, so did the towels, the fridge was moldy and warm, it said breakfast was included which we never got. Happy we only spent a night here, would not have spent more

The hotel has character but it is very basic. Breakfast is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle. On the positive side, the location on Church St was excellent, the AC and fan both worked, there was a small fridge, and there was a pleasant balcony with chairs. The cost was about the same as the Ramada in Colombo, but there was no comparison in terms of comfort or amenities. I had completely the wrong impression of this very small hotel from the Expedia description.
