ガソリンスタンドのあるロータリー交差点からしばらく舗装されていない道を進むとホテルがありました。 受付は食堂のある建物で、そこでチェックインすると車で裏側に回り、宿泊棟に進みます。 部屋は清潔で快適でした。 夜は天気が良かったのでオーロラと星がよく見えましたが、遅く到着した宿泊客が車のヘッドライトをなかなか消してくれなくてしばらく夜空が見づらかったです。(笑) 朝食も十分な内容でした。

Zimmer war groß und sehr schön eingerichtet. Frühstück war für die Preisklasse nicht besonders gut. Kaffeekanne wurde z. B. in unserem Beisein mit heißen Wasser nachgefüllt

A hotel stay should have a bed and shower at a minimum: Shower did not drain and there was only an inch high shower barrier on floor. Water flowed out so quickly. They came and said it was fixed, but it flooded again when my next child showered. My last daughter could not even shower. They would not offer refund, only $100 off of $600 at a future stay at a sister property. Which we may never be in Iceland again, so this is useless.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was well stocked. Very nice location!

We enjoyed our one night stay. Our room faced towards the countryside and we had a lot of fun watching the sheep outside our room. The room was nicely equipped w a small fridge and kettle. The blackout blinds weren’t the best so consider a sleep mask but it wasn’t a big deal.

Dele af hotellet er kun et år gammelt. Stod lækkert som flunkende nyt. Vi havde et dejligt værelse i den nye fløj. Stort og med separat bad og toilet. Morgenmaden har jeg fået lækrere andre steder, men der var ikke noget at klage over. Stedet ligger med skøn udsigt til bjergene. Og så er der fred og ro. Restauranten var god uden at være mere end det.

Just loved the hotel, the decor, the shower, the room, the setting, the sheep, friendly staff, and breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Thus was one of the nicer hotels on our three weeks adventure. Very nice staff, lovely rooms and many attractions nearby. Room was comfortable and clean. Very quiet

Stunning location, exceptional food and the best staff.

Clean room - well located property. Beds were comfortable. The shampoos and soaps were sparse, but I am American and found this to be an issue throughout Iceland.

Good room clean. Room to car was a bit of walk of gravel so inconvenient with bags. Staff friendly and helpful.

This was a perfect stay to be able to explore attractions near Skaftafell and go back to Vik in time for another glacier related activity. The location is a few minutes off the main road which offers extremely quiet and calm nights. There is a beautiful waterfall on the way there that you can stop at. Breakfast was ok; not what I’m used to, but it had enough options. Staff was really nice and attentive.

Es war ein gutes Zimmer, etwas hellhörig, man hat viele Kinder auf dem Flur rumrennen hören. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und lecker, vor allem die Pancakes mit Puderzucker. Ankunft und Abreise war unproblematisch.

Clean rooms that feel modern, with lots of practical amenities.

Chambre basique, pas de tv, pas de sèche cheveux Ok pour 1 nuit mais pas plus. Restaurant fermé. Pas grand chose aux alentours. Beaucoup de bruits dans l hotel, petit déjeuner simple, jus d orange pas bon, sans doute coupé avec de l eau

This was a great hotel! Rooms were comfortable and we had a great view. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was great! The restaurant had a great dinner menu. Food was excellent and they accommodated my wife's gluten allergy. I'd go back!
