Staff were very friendly, and room was very clean.

Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is brilliant, one member of our party has a food intolerance and they went out of their way to accommodate. Accommodation is spotless, very comfy and everything you need is provided

Our three rooms at Groes Inn were clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was really good.

Very friendly staff, get atmosphere. Very large room with fantastic views! Just a lovely place to stay! Breakfast was delicious! Will be coming back

The room was clean, good supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and water which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Comfy room and bed and bedding. Very clean Bathroom with big bath and complimentary toiletries. Flat screen TV. Excellent T Tray Very dog friendly. Free parking.

Loved the balcony offering view over the surrounding countryside . Room immaculate and bed comfortable. Staff always friendly and helpful. Found too many ares given over to dogs , I have owned dogs myself however most definitely do not approve of them one areas serving food .

Fabulous treatment. Great rooms. Food excellent. Bar area to just sit and have a couple of beers very small. But overall will stay again. Thanks

We checked in by 3pm, paid for out dog, had meals, had a bath and shower but we checked out by 8pm on the same night. We weren't happy with their service in the restaurant to start with, the staff seems very tired working long hours, shower water was too cold after having a bath. We were expecting much higher services, facilities and better meals as it says a 5 stars hotel. We were so disappointed that we didn't even stay a night to try free breakfast the next day. I guess nothing good will come for free these days. I have waited over 10yrs to come and stay in this historical famous hotel. I don't think we can get over this for a while. ;(;(;(

What a lovely Inn, it was excellent service throughout and the friendly staff made it a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are spacious and clean with excellent ablutions. The food was delicious. especially at breakfast and evening dining. It has a lovely beer garden and grape vines hanging in the conservatory. Easy driving distance from Convy. Highly recommended for people wanting to centralise their stay in North Wales. We will definitely hope to stay at the Groes Inn again.

Provided everything to be expected from a quality country inn.
