Roberto, his wife and his staff were all round great. Very friendly helpful and great service. We were very happy to find this authentic castle/village to stay in Tuscany.

If we could give Castello Di Gargonza 10 stars, we would. Everything was truly exceptional, from the breathtakingly beautiful location, to the lovely, luxurious rooms, to the warm and accommodating staff, to the delicious local food and drinks. It was a peaceful escape in the middle of our whirlwind Italy trip for my son’s graduation. So centrally located in Tuscany, an hour(ish) or less from Firenze, Siena, etc. Special thanks to Deanna and Lucia for being so amazing!

The Castello is a unique experience. The service is excellent, it is family run and it is high quality. Because the accommodation is in former village homes it is unusual but has been modernised with high quality facilities and air conditioning. The restaurant is very good and again great staff. Great pool. It is convenient for visiting Sienna or Arezzo.

Beautiful historic fortress / castle with tastefully updated rooms, great amenities that maintains the old character

O noite é muito bacana. Um castelo muito antigo preservado e numa localização privilegiada, no alto de uma montanha onde a vista é espetacular. Os quartos são grandes, a staff é super atencioso, tem um restaurante na propriedade que facilita devido o hotel ser mas afastado. Café da manhã com várias opções. Tem uma torre que é possível subir e tirar fotos lindíssimas no pôr do sol. Super recomendo ficar pelo menos uma noite.

All of the hotel staff did an outstanding job. Our room had everything we needed and the restaurant was great. Breakfast was exceptional. Special shoutout to Neri, the owner, for taking such good care of us.

I had the best experience here. I had come here with a group 22 years ago at age 13. I had wanted to relive and reminisce being at the castle and my experience was just as it was 22 years later at age 35!! I adored the staff and their attention and care to me as a solo traveling female. I felt like they became more than staff during my time, but friends. They showed me the inside of the room I stayed in with my grandparents as a little girl. It was really special to walk though. I always felt safe, even walking around the property at night. I WILL be back sooner rather than (22 years) later. :)

El hotel es una preciosidad ( es un conjunto de viviendas fortificadas ) en las que se distribuyen recepción , habitaciones , zona de desayunos y zonas de estar , piscina , restaurante ..,,, pero el mayor inconveniente es la falta de personal muy escaso por las instalaciones que tienen

Endroit de villégiature paradisiaque. Le domaine est d une beauté incroyable. Le service est impeccable, le restaurant préparent des plats de haute gastronomie. Notre séjour a été fabuleux!merci à Nori et toute son équipe. ciao!

Property is stunning. Small medieval village with an awesome pool in the hills of Tuscany. As for the rooms, you are camping in a medieval village. Expedia claims A/C, but we did not have. the rooms that have A/C are only portable units. A little tough when it is a hot August in Tuscany. The beds are horrible. Again you are camping in a medieval village. Location is very remote from other Tuscany towns. That being said, it is a beautiful place to camp in a medieval village.

It was very cold. Heater was working but still too cold. I told them, then manger brought electric stove, and we use it all the night. But still cold. In addition, Wi-Fi was not available (too weak), neither out side of cellar reach.

Reception was very friendly, even offer to take us to our room (sort of complicated in the castle). Room was very clean and comfortable, however WiFi single was inconsistent in different spot. Dinner manual was good (consider the location), breakfast had excellent choices and service.

If ever there is a place I would go back in Tuscany, this would be. Out of way enough to have absolute silence and close enough to enjoy the whole region for day trips. The breakfast bread and cake are made in home by Lucia and Veronica. 2 outstanding ladies. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who can enjoy few days in between and have car. For weddings would be a dream.
