Hotel room is clean, we have a small kitchen and two rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also provide an awesome breakfast! I definitely recommend this hotel to any.

We liked the Casa da Contador very much. It’s an old school - an amazing building. We had a T1 suite which had a door separating a generous sized bed and bath from the kitchen/dining sofa room. Good sized closet. I am rating 4 stars due to a tiny bathroom that was difficult to maneuver and it being 41/2 flights up to the 2nd floor. Parking is easy enough to not be an issue. Breakfast was okay and nice to have.

Excellent accommodation, walking distance to many restaurants, promenade, stores and other amenities. Breakfast basket was amazing.

Excellent option in PD for a small apartment. Stayed here three times now. Staff friendly. Close to the city centre but quiet and clean. This time we were sad that the resident cat was removed from the garden, it was friendly and made the place feel like home from home. The hot water supply could be a bit hotter. But overall it’s a great accommodation option with great people. And a really cute breakfast basket delivered each day.

Enjoyed our stay

La struttura è bella e ben ristrutturata in te ma ‘antica scuola per bambini’, vicina al centro. L’area relax (piscina molto piccola) sufficiente ma c’è molto di meglio nei dintorni allo stesso prezzo. Stessa valutazione per la colazione: poiché non c’è un’area colazione viene fornita in un bel cesto davanti alla camera al mattino. Penso che al prezzo di vendita della camera (2100 euro per 7 notti per 3 persone in agosto) sarebbe stato meglio avere una vera area colazione con la possibilità di scegliere tipo di cibo e quantità. Se avete un’auto nei dintorni è molto difficile trovare da parcheggiare. Peraltro la vicinanza al centro è molto comoda e il panificio sempre aperto davanti alla porta della struttura ti permette di prendere facilmente qualcosa se la colazione non ti ha soddisfatto. Signorina della reception molto gentile, manager della struttura per niente. Gattone del giardino veramente dolce ed affettuoso. Andateci se avrete un’offerta minore altrimenti cercate nei dintorni, allo stesso prezzo due classi superiori.

Staff was lovely and helpful. Accomodations were exactly as shown and very comfortable. Great bed and pillows. Furniture like new inside the room, in lobby and outdoors. Were able to safely store our luggage uppon arrival before chek-in. Free coffee available all day is a plus! We loved the neighbourhood; easy to walk to all main attractions of Ponta Delgada which is a very walkable and safe city. Quiet at night eventhough bedroom window on the street. Great padaria (bakery) next door. Loved the area around the plunge pool to relax and have a glass of wine. We had an issue with the electricity (breaker kept jumping when we plugged in the kettle) but when we reported they were quick to respond. Note there is no elevator. We had a very pleasant stay - highly recommend!

Very nice hotel; great breakfast delivered to your door each morning; great location to walk to different bars, restaurants and shops. Parking wasn’t great at first but fine after getting used to it

We stayed here previously in a suite which was not available on this trip. We had a studio which was nice, but on top floor If I was even 5 years younger it would have been fine. Helpful with parking our rental. There is some free parking close by but it is by luck until 5 pm. Costs €4 to park over 24 hours, which isn’t bad. Lots of great restaurants close by.

We had an amazing stay here. Katarina really provided such friendly recommendations and guidance. The breakfast baskets were much appreciated.The garden area was delightful!

Beautiful accommodations in a very walkable section of Ponta Delgada. Very friendly frond desk staff. The breakfast basket left at the door in the morning was over the top fantastic!

Wunderbare Unterbringung, sehr sauber & sehr bequemes Bett! Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und es ist angenehm, sich dort aufzuhalten. Das Frühstück wurde jeden morgen aufs Zimmer gebracht! Kann ich absolut empfehlen
