Great location and room worked great for our family of 4 before a cruise. She even stored our bags for us when we arrived early from Heathrow.

Room was clean but the towels were a bit old. Room size was good. Free parking was good but only for small to medium cars.

The staff where very nice the room was nice and clean and well presented the parking was a little tight on site

An excellent location - close to the White Horse historic pub and many other restaurants. Great for walking to the castle. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Caution. We booked this location due to proximity to the ferries but on a busy weekend the authorities will not allow a left turn at the bottom of Maison Dieu road. You will be sent out of town and 3 roundabouts later able to come back. A 10 minute drive becomes 2.5 hours. The room was okay. Tired. The person that opened the front door did not introduce themselves and or say welcome. The first thing they said was “you should have received an email with check-in information.” It turns out I did but since I had been driving for hours I didn’t see it. Maybe send it the day before? If people are ringing the doorbell there’s a chance they did in fact not see said email.

Absolutely great place to stay before our cruise. The hostess was wonderful and we had a room that was perfect!

We stayed here the night before our cruise was to leave out of Dover in late July. We were able to walk to the hotel from Dover Priory. You do need to ring the door bell and wait for the hostess to let you into the from door at the B&B. Our room was nice and spacious with its own en-suite bathroom, but it did not have air if that is a need for you. They provided you with a fan and it made comfortable for sleeping. You are close to dining, Dover Castle and the cliffs of Dover. We chose to walk to the port from our hotel and it was about 35 minutes. Some areas around the hotel need attention. If you need a cab they are available, but on cruise days the wait can be long to get a cab.

My stay here was difficult at best. Listing states “restaurant.” There is No restaurant. Listing mentioned “breakfast.” There is no breakfast. There is no laundry as stated. And, worst of all, there is no flexibility whatsoever on 4:30 check-in. My overseas plane arrived at 0630 and I arrived at this place at 10:00. The owner acted as if I was an intruder at the door and firmly stated 4:30! I explained my situation and offered to pay more if I could access my room earlier. No! By 2:30 after 30 hours of no sleep, I came back and told the owner I did not feel safe any longer wondering around Dover without any sleep. I asked if I could sit on the stairs outside. She said no, that I could go to a park and wait there for 2 more hours. Absolutely no flexibility or concern whatsoever for guest. I did meet other guests staying who expressed the same opinion of this place. So, while the rate is attractive, I would definitely pay more for a better place.

Great location in Dover, walkable to town centre, cliffs and Dover Priory station. We were in room 6 which was at the front of the property on the top floor, two flights of stairs, no lift, which is normal in English properties. The room was a very good size and spotlessly clean. Towels were changed daily and bins emptied. Bed is comfortable. Host and daughter are very friendly and helpful. The only downside we found was the traffic noise from main road and very loud seagulls, when the windows are closed it is quiet but you need to use the fan which is very effective but sounds like a small aircraft, either way you will need sleep earplugs or noise cancelling earbuds to sleep

The host was kind and eager to please us. The room was perfectly prepared for us and suited all of our needs for an overnight stay. The house is located in a perfect spot to enjoy and explore Dover.

Cozy, cute single bed with down the hall private bathroom. Walkable to train, castle and beach.

The property was lovely, the brwakfast delicious and our host,Sandra, was effective and nice. Who could ask for more. Would highly recommend this bed & breakfast.
