Simply outstanding- wonderful value!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Excellent accommodation, very good sized room with lovely views of the garden to the rear. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast offering and dinner was really good. Fabulous building in a lovely village setting.

Staff were great. Room was good apart from a window that didn’t seal - lets in wind water and noise.

The expensive rooms are lovely(i have stayed here many times). However, this time i went for a "cheap" room, still over £80, no cupboard space, ironing board out, floors swept but needed scrubbing, very little space, not a particularly comfortable bed, bathroom very average. I was just expecting better.

Clean room, lovely area. Everything catered for. Lovely welcoming staff. Garden great for the kids and adults. Would recommend and come again. Food good.

The rooms were large, clean, staff friendly and location was peaceful. Enjoyed the stay with family. Thank you for the upgrade. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and rebook.

Room was good size, large comfy bed, but that's the positives. First impression not great with the door handle hanging off, the last occupants left long hairs all over the floor, the shower was very tired with literally no pressure, all in all very tired property that needs renovating. Breakfast was a buffet for full English, why have a menu?, no beans, no eggs, and we were down at 9.30am when service was until 10.30am. Won't be staying again if in that area, pay a little more and stay in Marlow if that's your plan.

We stayed 4 nights. After a poor standard Classic room (32) on our first night (cleanliness issue), we were moved to the Bridal Suite for our 2nd night and we were told our first night was being refunded. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. On the back of that, we booked another 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Luxury room (Room 17). Beds in all the rooms were comfortable and the rooms provided all normal facilities (tv, table, chair, toiletries, wifi) and we could go to Reception for more tea/milk/water, which was much appreciated. However, the issue of floor cleanliness became the turning point for us. In all 3 types of rooms we occupied it wasn't nice to walk on the floor in bare feet. All the floors (bare black floorboards) need a good scrub and in Room 17, the curtains need to be taken down and washed, the bottom 4 inches being grimy. This doesn't fit with the description "Luxury". After the staff had bent over backwards to make our stay special, we felt we would be churlish and ungrateful if we brought up the subject of cleanliness again, so we ended up moving to another hotel.

If you stay in the main house, the doors are about 5ft high, no good if you are 6ft!!!

Standard room a bit basic but it was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.

Room style a little dated, needs a re-fresh, no carpet, window frame rotten but painted over. An experiance of old times.

A lovely old Inn in a beautiful little village. Our room in the main Inn was lovely - very quaint but tastefully decorated. Although the wooden floor looked very nice a carpet would have been more comfortable and less noisy! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breaskfst was very good and we ate in the restuarant in the evenings which was also very good. The staff were very good, even though they seemed to be juggling serving at the reception as well as waiting tables. Overall a wonderful stay.

The room was beautiful, and very clean, Great location, pub was good and cozy, we ate in the restaurant, the food was stunning, services was great, with a yummy breakfast. Lots of choice.

I’ve stayed in this hotel a number of times now. The staff are amazing and the rooms always clean and comfortable. It’s beautifully quiet and serene but also not far from town centres. The most recent stay we upgraded to the bigger suite type room. Stunning and excellent value for money.

We stayed at The Olde Bell for one night and we were very kindly given an upgrade to a gorgeous luxury room overlooking the lovely garden. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated with a free standing bath in the room as well as a large walk in shower in the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly, dinner was good and breakfast was fantastic. This is also such a good value historical hotel in a gorgeous village. We will definitely be back - this is our second stay.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but this place is certainly deserving of one. First up, it’s a Best Western, so I went into this with open eyes and a ‘you get what you pay for’ attitude. Hurley is a beautiful location. This hotel doesn’t match its surroundings. I was in room 30 and the biggest issue is noise and cold drafts. The windows are thin framed and single glazed. The windows do not close properly and, weirdly, the biggest problem stems from the hinged side of the window having a gap with the frame almost an inch wide. The hotel had attempted to insert foam in the gap for one window. The others were just like living half in the car park and half in the hotel. Ironically, of the 6 windows in the room, only one would open. The room itself has the pub one side and the carp park on the other. The room is immediately adjacent to the road. Thankfully, the road isn’t too busy at night, but there is a lot of traffic during the day. As with most Best Westerns, the furnishings are very tired. The room was very dusty. The electrics had malfunctioned. One of the two lights didn’t work and various plug sockets didn’t have a working electricity supply. Kettle didn’t work. Noise from the other rooms and car park was excessive to say the least and particularly when the pub closed.
