Our stay was for a couple of days to attend a Wedding in Winchester. St John’s Croft is ideally placed within 5 minutes easy walk of the town centre, with on site parking at the property. The property is a lovely grand farmhouse, in a very quiet raised spot, considering how close it is to everything. The property has a lovey, relaxed, arty/boho feel to it, with a warm atmosphere. Our room had a large double and single daybed, two very comfortable armchairs, coffee table, lots of side lamps and a TV. A good powerful shower in our private bathroom, with lots of hot water was most welcome. Dotty cooked us a marvellous breakfast around a large communal kitchen table by the AGA. I would more than happily stay here again. Thank you.

Room was absolutely lovely, very homely and Dotty made us feel very welcome. We felt like we were at an old friends house for breakfast the next morning, it's a beautiful kitchen/dining area and Dotty made the best scrambled eggs. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly and welcoming. Large room with comfortable bed. Bathroom not ensuite but across a hallway and is private for sole use. All very clean Lovely homely breakfast Close to centre of Winchester

The accommodation was absolutely beautiful. Greeted by the lovely Rosie, she made us feel very welcome. Had a lovely breakfast cooked fresh with plenty of options. The room was very nice and over looked the beautiful garden. Perfect location, only 5 mins into the local town. Would definitely stay again.

What a fabulous find. Perfect location to walk into the city. Such a beautiful building, full of charm. Room was clean and comfortable and very spacious. Very welcoming and a great home cooked breakfast. Definitely would return.

Our weekend away at St Johns Croft was a dream. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the cosiness and uniqueness of the accommodation. Breakfast was a treat each morning, fuellimg us for a day of walking amd sightseeing. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Dotty was at the property when we arrived and showed us our rooms. The rooms were lovely, big and had everything that was needed, hairdryer and robes included. The shower room was big, had toiletries and the towels were nice and fluffy. The whole building was fantastic and is a lovely home. Dotty was very informative and friendly making you feel like part of the family. The property was only a short walk from town and has parking. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up for the day. I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely stay again.

Fresh breakfast, lovely hosts and fabulous big rooms.

The house is superb and location fantastic and owners very pleasant. The room was large and comfortable but what made our stay less comfortable was the fact that the room contained only a bath with no shower attachment. At my age with bad knees getting in and out of a bath is very difficult. The toilet (for our use only) was along the corridor from our room, again not at all convenient! Maybe I missed these facts when booking but en-suite facilities are the minimum I expect when booking nights away

Very neat and tidy bedroom, warm & friendly welcome, excellent location for Winchester centre, only a 5 minute walk. St Johns Croft has a lovely quirky ambience, the whole place smells of lovely old timber, gardens are delightful, the breakfast wholesome, much of it locally sourced. All served with a smile and friendly chat from the hostess, Dotty

Lovely B&B with very friendly owner. I stayed with my best mate and we had a huge room with lots of light. Comfy bed. Yummy breakfast. Beautiful building.

We enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt and the smoked salmon and scrambled egg which we ate around a large table in a friendly kitchen. It was a beautiful house full of character.

Lovely room and stay. Homely atmosphere, excellent location with parking. We would definitely stay here again.

One of a kind accommodation, friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. Perfectly situated 10 minutes walk from city centre but felt like you were in the middle of a quaint village! Cat was a bit aloof but it was a cat!!!
