Staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a little dated but perfectly clean. Good for a one or two night stay.

Mycket bra läge bara någon minuts promenad till mitt i Dumfries. Hotellet är slitet men ok. Sängarna var bekväma.

Good location for town center and railway stations. Quite, nice breakfast, helpful staff.

Older style property. No lift. Good breakfast provided. Shower a bit small for larger people Lawn bowls club opposite. Welcomed my cousins who are bowlers in Australia. 10 minute walk to town. Visited Robert Burns museum free.

It was in a good location near to town . Parking on the drive . Rooms big and comfortable . Breakfast very good choice and plenty of good. Staff very friendly

Room was immaculate, had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and a nice choice. We had our own bathroom and were given a key to come and go from the building.

Bedrooms & decor of good quality, (though mattress had seen better days) but peripherals could benefit from attention -just one eg waste bin outside entrance full of butt ends & planters would benefit from sprucing up, breakfast area uninspiring & a bit tatty around the edges Potential of being really nice stay with a bit more tiding up & attention to detail.

Breakfast was wonderful

Mattresses were terrible, room was tiny with a shower in the closet, shower fan kept going for hours and would not switch off, property was in process of being sold so no improvements would be made, was old and tired room. breakfast was lovely however

Only fault wee had was it was on top floor up over 30 steps a lot for over 77 year old. Mattress needs updating But service and extra large breakfast made up for small complaint
