チェックインの際、予約に名前がないと言われ、焦りました。でも、予約済みの画面を見せると、すぐに対応してくれたので、ほっとしました。ホテルの一階がバーで、チェックインはそこで対応してくれます。ハッピーアワーでビールを飲みました。種類がたくさんあって悩みました。ビールは、とてもおいしかったです。スタッフの方も、フレンドリーに接してくれて嬉しかったです。部屋は、やや狭かったですが、コーヒーコーナーや無料のランドリーがあり、助かりました。

思いの外快適にすごせました。清潔でゆったりとすごせます。

Lady across from the building was throwing food to the seagulls on the roof outside my window. Very noisy! Also a used syringe was on the roof. Otherwise the room was good. No tv but great bed with a fan.

Excellent stay at Centrum Hotel Akureyri. Everything was superb — beautiful rooms, great service, great restaurant, and a perfect location. Highly recommended!

We were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this hotel if getting a good night’s sleep is important to you. Blackout drapes were a requirement for us when booking in Iceland in July, so we chose this hotel because it advertised them. Instead, our room had thin curtains with zero light-blocking ability. When I asked about it, the person at the bar said they didn’t work for the hotel and called someone on their cell phone. That person admitted the blackout drapes “hadn’t arrived yet,” meaning they knew they were advertising an amenity they didn’t provide. They were rude, offered no solution, and simply said we could leave, despite it being late, the town being essentially sold out, and us having driven for hours to get there. The room also didn’t match the photos. The bathroom had shower curtains instead of a glass enclosure, and the hairdryer was unusable. You had to hold a button the entire time, and the airflow was so weak I had to let my hair air dry. We expected some noise from staying above a bar in the city. That would have been fine if we could close the window, but there was no fan or ventilation, so we had to leave it open all night. Overall, the hotel did not provide the amenities it advertised, and the customer service made an already frustrating stay even worse.

Sehr modern eingerichtete Zimmer. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Auch mit dem parken hat es mit der von der Unterkunft beschriebenen Möglichkeiten sehr gut funktioniert. Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir über das Wochenende dort waren und somit keine Parkgebühren angefallen sind. Die Strecke vom Parkplatz bist zur Unterkunft ist sehr kurz und zu Fuß mit Koffer machbar. Im Restaurant wird ein Frühstück in Form eines Buffets angeboten. Dies muss man nicht verbuchen, sondern kann morgens einfach vorbei kommen. Wir haben dies jedoch nicht wahrgenommen. Alternativ gibt es mehrere Cafés und auch gleich neben an eine Bäckerei.

Un très bon accueil et un personnel très agréable et serviable. Seul regret le petit déjeuner était très cher

Overall nice hotel. But no parking. Need to park the car in the city park. The hotel has 2 separated building. In one building, it doesn’t have wifi signal at all. A bit noise outside.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Lage direkt im Zentrum war perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer ist allerdings relativ klein und es gab keinen wasserkocher oder eine kleine Küche wo man sich was hätte zubereiten können.

We understand they’re going through some renovation, but compared to the main photos in the listing, we were expecting a different experience. Our room was slightly outdated compared to the main photos that were shown in the listing (photo 40/60 on the listing). The bed was extremely comfortable - the blackout curtains let in some light but overall did a good job. Overall it was a good hotel for the price point and the location was great right in the centre of town.
