Lovely place to stay. Very clean, comfortable bed, 5 minute walk to harbour.

Sanjeev was very accommodating. Breakfast was good, rooms very clean. Hotel is close to the harbour.

The owner/proprietor was very courteous, decent person. Along with his wife, he treated us very nicely. Room cost including breakfast was very reasonable. Location of the property was excellent. 3 minutes walk from the marina and sea front restaurants and takeaways.

Nice clean well maintained property. Easy access on foot to centre of Torquay. Parking on site is limited but their is also parking at a very close car park using a permit provided by the hotel.

Everything was clean and tidy - from the room and bathroom to the breakfast room.

The room had everything we needed and was very clean, the balcony was an added extra which we were very grateful for. The staff couldn’t do enough to help. The breakfast was excellent and a good choice of food.

Beautiful place to stay run by lovely people who were so helpful and friendly. My room was big, with coffee/tea making facilities and a mini-fridge. There was a desk plus a couple of armchairs, and then the king size bed. That was really comfortable with lovely bedding. The balcony was great, with views over Torwood Gardens and down to the harbour. There are four parking spaces out the back, which are very tight, so only good for small cars. It was great to have free parking for my stay, though, so I really appreciated it. The location is superb, as you're just a short walk down to the harbour and town. All in all a wonderful stay, thank you so much!

Excellent from the moment we checked in. Sam directed us to park the car which was too big for the spaces allocated. He provided us with a parking permit so parking was still free. Room was spotless with a fridge in the room. Bathroom was impeccable. Towels provided were new and fresh. Nice to have fresh milk available from a fridge on the landing to use I stems of the UHT pods. Sam and his Wife could not have been better hosts. Extremely attentive and demonstrated this to other guests who were staying at Hotel Peppers at the same time. We didn’t sample the breakfast or the bar as there were so many places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk to the harbour. When visited relation in Torquay next time then Hotel Peppers will be our preferred destination bar none.

What a gem of a place. Everything was spotless, the room was lovely and one of the best things was the room had a small fridge for fresh milk, rather than those awful pots of uht you get everywhere now. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked with lots of choice. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble.

The owners could not have been more friendly and I think their breakfasts would be wonderful but I just don't eat enough to make a full English an option for me. I was a bit daunted when I saw the steep steps up to the front of the hotel but there is an alternative route via the car park at the rear with just a few steps to negotiate.
