The view of the hotel ia mind blowing. The rooms are cozy, warm and clean. I would love to stay there again. You need to know that the surroundings of the hotel have change, is more developed so that means more noises... But nothing too loud to handle. The food service is terms of food, everything is so good! But it's slow, in my opinion it goes well with the idea that you go there to relax and enjoy the view... So just be aware that it might take a while. You have other hotels nearby that also offers food service.

The staff is so unwelcoming, the restaurant is super slow. So if you are hungry, do not order from there because it will take a long time for you to get the food. The beds were kind of hard. The hotel is beautiful. It’s in front of the water.

There is no early check into the rooms. Staff do not respond to messages, you have to speak to them in person. They can hold your luggage if you arrive before check-in time, but beware that all your luggage and bags will be placed in an open area. The property itself is beautiful and close to the dock where the lanchas are. Little to no hot water. Little amenities.

Service is at a very “relaxed” pace, particularly in the restaurant. I couldn’t check in until 3pm so had a couple beers at the hostel next door. Location next to the dock is *super* convenient, but boat is traffic is constant so can be a bit noisy. Only a couple mins walk to Stand Up Paddle Atitlan (highly recommend their sunrise tour). Room was comfortable, although mine had no door between the bed and bathroom so something to keep in mind if you’re not traveling solo! Had a great view over the lake from my room, and appreciated the Adirondack chairs outside for blinding in the sun. Hot shower was great. Sweet dogs lazing around the property.

The one clear problem was the reception - cold and unwelcoming, and moving at her own slow and defiant way. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. Some rooms like mine are old and worn with no hot water, others I could see were much better. With a different receptionist and a different room I would return to this place for its location and price.

The views and location by the pier is really good.

The view was beautiful but the inside of the room a total disgrace. Dark environment, smelly bedding and besides of the licking bathroom the worst was the MOLD around the sink there obvious, present, disgusting. They fixed the water in the middle of the bathroom but the mold was still there, untouched. I couldn’t stand to stay more than one night of five that I already paid. They said I couldn’t get a reimbursement because I used Expedia. My bad.

Heavily recommended Arca De Noe over the more popular places around the lake. Some reviews here say they could hear Free Cervesa next door, but I couldn’t for my whole stay. It’s very quiet and very beautiful, I never felt like it was over crowded or over booked as other properties on the lake tend to be. Excellent food as well

Hôtel au bord du lac avec une vue imprenable sur les volcans. Attention, ne faites pas comme nous qui sommes venus en 4X4. Navette en bateau impératif. Bon petit déjeuner : desayuno rancho.

No geral a estadia foi boa. No hotel tem um restaurante (mto bom), porém no primeiro dia houve uma certa resistência em aceitar o pagamento com cartão de crédito, problema solucionado no outro dia conversando com outra funcionária. O hotel fica num lugar lindo na beira do lago, otimo para nadar.. Santa Cruz la Laguna é um pueblo mais isolado, não tem mta opção de cafes e restaurantes, mas como gosto de um sossego achei ótimo. Na pousada tem tudo, fornecem até água, mas caso precise de algo mais específico, oriento levar... Amei o lugar, voltaria con certeza!!

The view was incredible. However...due to a transportation delay, we arrived 1 day later. We tried to notify the hotel, but their phone # was out of order. They did not respond to email. When we finally did arrive (note: we paid for the hotel in advance via Expedia), they had no record of the reservation or payment. After quite an argument (and we did have the printed receipt!), they gave us a room, but were incredibly, indescribably rude to us for the entirety of our stay. I've never in my life experienced such treatment. And I've never left a negative review. Until now.

Absolutely lovely hotel! I definitely would stay again. It’s clean, the rooms are simple but colorful and comfortable. And the views! The view of lake Atitlan and the volcanoes is stunning. The boat dock is at the hotel’s doorstep making getting around the area easy.

Property is good. Staff and services need a lot of improvement.
