We booked this hotel because of air conditioning, however the ac wasn't strong enough under heat wave, it's a basic hotel, no fridge, close to shopping mall and restaurants but it's quite noisy as it's next to the main road.

Clean room. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful Air conditioning was good. Parking available. Roast dinner in the pub was perfect. A fridge and some herbal teas in the room would’ve been nice 😊

The room was okay, suitable for what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was again good for our needs. The air conditioning was annoyingly strong with no ability to change the set temperature - we had to turn it off to warm the room up. We booked for 2 nights Thursday & Friday, and then on Friday we decided we wanted to extend an extra night. We found that despite a double room being free, we were unable to book this online or through the reception as a requirement was set that we would have to book 2 nights. This was frustrating, and also led to you missing out on an extra night.

We recently stayed at Canterbury Bell and had a good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The food was great, with a good variety of options. The location is convenient, with easy access to Canterbury and the surrounding area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a good value for money. I would happily stay here again and recommend Canterbury Bell to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

Ideal location if you want to go shopping and not far from the beach will definitely come back

Clean rooms , w/c seat was broken , window seal was sticky so item's stuck to the surface . Staff were really nice , the bar was good . Great to have free parking . Overall not bad but not memorable enough to return .

Lovely hotel, restaurant and staff. Food was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

The staff were excellent. The room had no hat water on the day of Departure. 0900 18/07.

Well positioned for accessing the coastal towns. Breakfast was disappointing. Room was OK. Overall a poor imitation of a Premier Inn.

Room was very tired and In need of a refurb pub was very nice quite expensive though food was good. Nice shopping centre next door

Clean, air conditioned room, friendly and helpful staff with a great restaurant and breakfast atmosphere. More than enough parking availability and a safe area. Lots of shops nearby.

Clean airy room, they had plenty of towels and clean bedding. They had put the trundle bed out ready which I thought was nice. They had ample parking which was really useful. The room had some aspects which felt a little cheap, the kettle wouldn’t shut properly, the sink wouldn’t unplug, which was annoying when brushing our teeth, and the curtains nearly fell from the wall when trying to close them.

Good Breakfast

Good size and clean room. In fact we were welcomed by a freshly cleaned entry hall and outside areas. Plenty of spaces to park. We did not have breakfast but that also looked good and the bar area was also clean and well presented. The staff were good. Would stay again.

Have stayed before and a nice hotel. Was very glad of the a/c on this occasion. Was World Cup on and asked to switch one of to to tonight’s game to no avail despite barley a sole in bar and no one watching either to. Was surprised not be advised I was being put in a disability room with chair rather than bath or standing shower
