The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all hours of the day and night, even when we were checking out at three in the morning for our early flight. (They offered to book our taxi, too, without me even having to ask.) The room was clean, comfortable, and stylish. Absolutely no complaints.

This is a lovely hotel on Water Street in St. John's. Great location. Comfy rooms. The staff is AMAZING. And I love waking up to the views of the harbor.

Did not like that there was no mini fridge in the rooms.

Beautiful hotel, unbeatable location!

Such a cool spot in a great location. From the funky lobby to the artwork throughout to the fabulously comfortable bed, this was a great stay!

Room was clean, staff personable and friendly, coffee in the cafe was great. Parking could be a little tricky but all went well.

Fantastic accommodations right on the water!

Very convenient hotel, whoever designed it did an amazing job. The king room is not huge but beautifully designed, very modern and has a really good coffee machine. Maryna on reception was very polite and helpful.

Great location, right in the center of the city. Room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful, offered suggestions for places to visit around the city.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Very clean, modern, super nice staff and great rooms with lots of tech. We also had a view of the harbour which was great. And the location is simply perfect for walking along Water and George Street. Highly recommended!

Restaurant service was slow

Welcoming, colorful and comfortable hotel, from the outdoor and indoor seating areas to the spacious rooms. More options for breakfast on Mon-Wed would be welcome. The cafe runs out of items quickly and restaurant does not serve breakfast every day. It would be nice to start the day with a good breakfast at the hotel rather than have to hunt down a spot in overcrowded nearby restaurants. Centrally located and in our opinion in the best spot for exploring the downtown core. 5+ stars for all the staff members who helped make our stay wonderful!

Das ALT Hotel ist immer ein guter Anlaufpunkt. Sehr zentral gelegen, die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Parkplätze sind verfügbar und mit 20 $ im Rahmen. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen, wenn wir in St. John’s sind.

Fun lobby experience…great cafe, pool tables, lots of places to sit and meet new people. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
