町まで2㎞、徒歩20～30分、軽い坂が続き行きはよいよい帰りはこわい。 天候にもよるが雨だと「罰ゲーム」 レセプション・食堂棟と宿泊棟からなり数棟に分かれる。 部屋は簡素で元炭鉱夫宿舎？トイレ・シャワーは共同であるが数があり不便はない。

とても快適なキャビン。ナチュラル派におすすめ。靴は下で脱いで上がるので、 サンダルや自分スリッパがあると便利。朝食も充実しています。シャワーとトイレは共同ですがお湯もたっぷり、きれいです。 私が訪ねた3月初旬は、オーロラも見られ、、海岸の町の明かりから離れているので、ホテルの外からでもチャンスありました。キャビンのスタッフも親切でした。吹雪か続いて街歩きが出来なかった時、タクシーで周ろうと思い、フロントに 相談しました。そしたら。私の頼んだタクシーは高いから、こちらのほうが良いと、別のタクシーを頼んでくれました。 空港からの送迎バスもこのホテルに来ますから大丈夫です。

Very basic cabin, but anyway I didn't expect much considering geography of the city I visited. 15-20 min walk from main street, so it's trade-off between cost and distance. Staff was helpful.

At the bargen price, but about 120 USD per night, I was put in a room there was no window... Well, there was a window frame but the window glass was left uttely broken and a wooden panel was framed instead. I did not have a view from the room at all. I was told it was at the peak period so there was no other rooms available even though I saw many vacant rooms from outside. Apart from that, I do not complain about anything on the hotel(The room was clean enough). I enjoyed the mountain hiking etc very much. Oh, the burgers and the steak (I liked) were at reasonable prices as it was maybe because of no tax there (I mean as a Norwegian price, it is not exactly a part of Norway though).

チェックイン、チェックアウト、朝食をとる棟と宿泊棟が別になった簡素なホテルです。 日本の感覚でいうと、ホテルと言うよりも国民宿舎のレベルです。 各棟に個室のお手洗いが4、5個あり、シャワーはそのお手洗いの奥に設置されています。カーテンのしきりがあるだけで、床は段差がありません。 朝食込みの価格を他のホテルと比較すると、3分の1程度ですから、夏場運行される朝5時前の早朝便でオスロに帰るような日の短時間の滞在の方や、とにかく価格を安く抑えたい方にはお勧めです。

A bit of a walk into the centre.

We stayed 3 nights in a family room which has 3 beds. Room is spacious and clean. Reception staff is nice and friendly. Buffet breakfast is included, won't be too many choices but considering this is in arctic circle that resources don't come easy. Surprisingly it is not noisy, as contrary to my expectation that wooden cabin has thin walls. Bus to airport starts from the reception area, so very convenient.

Our bedrooms didn’t come with attach bathrooms . That was a big disappointment. It is not written anywhere that there would be common bathrooms .
