The instructions for check in were accurate and easy to follow, however, in the instructions it said I could ask for a later check out and when I did, I did not get a response. The place was clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the lake. I was sad that the restaurant wasn't open while I was there. The breakfast was a delicious muffin with a granola bar, an apple and a rice crispy square. It was fine for me.

Very disappointed . Would never recommend for seniors . Bed was the worst . Very soft mattress and no box springs. Felt as I was lying on the floor . No chairs in the room and no TV . Not even in the common area .Price was 147.00 . Would not return again . You don’t even get to speak to somebody . They emailed you a code for the main door and another for your room . 😢 Wish I had taken a photo

Property was cute. We stayed here on our last night in Halifax so we could be close to the airport for an early flight. Bring your earplugs if you want to go to bed early, because you will likely hear noise from the bar below and the other guests talking in the common area. No issues otherwise.

Clean room, the view is lovely, excellent location, great customer service, easy to check in and check out.

The room was modern and clean with a great view of Miller Lake. Unfortunately I did the self check-in, in the dark with rain pouring down and couldn't locate the property for 20 minutes. Lighting on the signage or street number is recommended. A bit of a game-changer that sticks with me is that they don't use a top sheet. I get that people do this at home, but not for guest-use....eew!

The room was clean, staff was helpful. There were a few restaurants down the street. I didn't appreciate the $200+ CAN hold on my card for room damage. In comparison, the motel in Connecticut charged $50 US.

This was a place to sleep after a late flight for us. No interaction with staff. Room was very good, clean, quiet. Keurig coffee and a muffin and yougurt for breakfast. Would stay again.

We stayed at the Forth Lock the night before an early morning flight. The B&B is close to the airport and the Resturant is a great place to eat. The rooms are efficient and being able to have a nice dinner in the same building is a great feature. I can see us booking the whole "house" if we were doing something in Halifax.

Price is great, as we were flying out the next day and just need a place to have a good nights sleep.

Our 2-room unit was ready for us, however the bathtub had not been cleaned so was not usable, and the heating fan did not work in the main room so it was cold in one bedroom room and hot in the other. bedroom The beds weren't made up with a top sheet, only the duvet/comforter, which is not standard in a hotel or guest house. The restaurant food was delicious however.

Shared livingroom was clean & tidy No ridiculous noise levels (yes I heard talking and music but wasn’t over powering) Room was clean and shower. Perfect little getaway ! I can’t wait to come back in the summer and utilize the deck with its perfect view of the lake across the street. Easy to check in !

I was only there for a few hours. It was located under 10 minutes from the airport. The take away breakfast offered lots of options. Well air conditioned, bed was very comfortable. Easy to navigate and access the room.

It was a good stay . The floors are a little noisy so I could hear the bar bellow and also the guest upstairs
