Fantastic welcome. Good food. Beautiful location.

If you're looking for a place to stay while passing through the area, Strathcarron Hotel is wonderful! The beds aren't the comfiest, and the rooms are a bit dated, but these folks will make you feel like you're part of the family! We stayed in several hotels around Scotland, but Strathcarron was the friendliest and most welcoming!

The place had a lot of old world charm. Bar and restaurant on premises was convenient.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

We arrived to the warmest of welcomes and that continued through out our stay. Becca and Richard couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was clean and comfortable. The food was good and home cooked. They were happy to make anything we asked for regardless of if it was on the menu. They took the time to make friends with us and when we left we felt like we were saying goodbye to friends.

The camping area looked really noce and the views are beautiful. If this review were based on service it would ne more startls. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is older so I expected the creaky floors and thin walls. Sadly the bed was terribly uncomfortable. The bathroom could really use a good remodel. The pub/restaurant downstairs offers good food and drinks, but is pretty expensive, so be prepared for that.

The hosts were wonderful and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best welcomes you'll get anywhere!!! Richard, Rebecca and the team, go the extra mile in hospitality and food . First name terms within minutes of meeting with everything all prepared ready! Rooms are basic but are clean, warm & with comfy beds. Entirely suitable for a few nights stay, as the friendliness outweighs any of that. Food is great, served with a smile, humour, or a story! A great place!

O lugarejo é maravilhoso e a equipe do Hotel é fantástica! A Becca e o Richard são excelentes anfitriões. O Jimmy, no bar, foi insuperável.

From the minute we walked in until the minute we left, we were treated like family. Richard and Becca are simply lovely people and really know how to look after their guests. We will stay there again for sure!!👍👍👍👍

Family run business . Friendly . good value and excellent food

To me it was an average hotel in a small area just like the others. nothing better nothing worse. The owners seemed very nice and the breakfast was good.

We arrived later in the evening. Keys were left on the registration desk, no attendant. The room was small, and the shower was tiny.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. An engaging host. Like the use of tartan in the furnishings.

I made a mistake thinking I had booked into the Lochcarron hotel thank goodness I hadn’t. It turned out that it should have been the Strathcarron hotel. What a relief, the only criticism I would give on the Strathcarron was the room was small with limited facilities. Their food was good and the staff were friendly.

Rustic bar but plenty of character and great chat with staff.

The Chilean member of staff was lovely. The room was tired and dated but clean. At £150 for the night we would have expected breakfast to be included. We even had to pay for a cup of tea and a bowl of cereal of which we were given no choice.
