総合評価とレビュー Mount Pleasant Hotel

交通機関の遅延の関係で急遽チェックインの時間が遅くなってしまったのですが、チェックインについて問い合わせのメールを送るとすぐにチェックイン方法についてのお返事を下さり、安心してホテルに向かうことが出来ました。滞在中も要望に対してすぐに対応してくださりとても有難かったです。 また、バス停からも近く、周辺にはレストランやスーパーもあり便利でした。

Cheap and cheerful, but dont expect anything more than a place to kip for the night. Nice bloke, but the place is falling apart.

Was concerned after reading the trip advisor reviews about this hotel, which I found after the booking. No cancellation policy meant we were stuck here. To my pleasant surprise when we checked in the rooms were clean and spacious. Mattresses were a bit cheapy so can feel the springs, they should've bought them from Gables Beds as those mattresses are super compfy. We had 3 rooms and no complaints from any of the 6 guests.

Basic accommodation. Small room. I was expecting something more. Strange odour (like chlorinated swimming pool) on first entering room. Adjoining curry restaurant appears to be part of same business. Small parking area through narrow archway. On the plus side, the Headington Shark was visible from my room.

Clean and comfortable. Polite reception.

Lovely man on reception, all bedding spotless but hotel very tired inside and needs a lot of repairs done, on arrival the bar was not cleaned up.

Great little hotel to stay in reasonably priced lots of local amenities wonderful staff

Lovely stay. The person at reception was very helpful and very pleasant to talk to. The Hotel is nearby a bus stop which takes you directly to the City Centre within 20 minutes. Will definitely visit again.

Good location for food, restaurants and Asian groceries. Regular buses to and from Oxford. Overall good value for money. Will stay there again,

Room needed some maintenance. Toilet didn’t flush and window somehow not attached to frame. Cleanliness was adequate.

Lovely room even though could do with updating but it suited my needs, comfy beds and crisp bedding just what I needed whilst my husband was in surgery at John Radcliffe, nice friendly staff too. Would definitely stay again.

Arrived, no one on reception, and the staff at restaurant that shares premises asked me to ring the man for him to come. Bad start. Once in room, it was clean but worn out. Lots of unfinished fixing jobs around the room. And it was cold, a space heater provided but not up to job of warming room.

Clean room. Had to call number to check in. Generally fine.

DO NOT STAY HERE, INFESTED WITH BED BUGS! Upon arrival, it took 25 mins of loudly calling out until someone arrived at the front desk. I told them I had been calling for 25 mins, to which they told me they were just there a couple minutes ago. Whatever, I let it slide. I go to the room, it’s ok, seems a little dirty with crumbs on the floor. The first night was fine, however I woke up halfway through my second (of 4) nights very itchy and discovered my face, neck, arms and legs covered in bed bug bites! I seemed to have an allergic reaction too and was very swollen/puffy, not great since I was in town for a couple of presentations and meetings. I attempted to upload photos of the bites but hotels.com does not allow this. Even though I had two nights remaining on the reservation, I left. No one was at the desk when I left, so I returned that afternoon to voice my displeasure with the situation. Again I had to call out for about 10 mins before anyone showed up. The manager was apologetic and acknowledged knowing about their bed bug problem (why this wasn’t disclosed beforehand I do not know!). They explained I had to contact hotels.com to have them contact the hotel for a cancellation of the last 2 nights and a reimbursement for the previous night with bed bugs. Hotels.com has attempted to contact them over the last 6 days without the hotel answering/responding to them. Very unprofessional and unpleasant.

Bathroom sealant was black or loose, ceiling paint was breaking up/off, mysterious patches on carpet. Facilities could do with modernising or refreshing

The Gentleman at the desk was very helpful and pleasant. The Hotel itself was clean. The Hotel was poorly furnished and in desperate need of money spent on it and all furniture needs replacing.

Everything appeared adequate initially, service was good but there was bed bugs in the room which ruined the stay as a woke up the next morning with multiple bites.
