We absolutely loved The Fox. The room was so lovely with attention to detail, making it feel very luxurious. The food was delicious and we loved the breakfast. The staff were fabulous and made us feel very welcome.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The room was amazing, the attention to detail is the best. The restaurant made amazing food. I just wish I had found the place at the beginning of my trip rather than the end. Tina was so lovely at breakfast. I will come back!

The hotel is in a beautiful building with 5 rooms available to book. We were in a room on the top floor, which had a wonderfully comfortable bed and a lovely en-suite shower room. I think it was called Littleton. The room was well equipped, with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the cupboard. Lovely shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel included. There was a kettle and coffee machine with complimentary pods, tea bags etc and water in the mini fridge. We were very pleased with the room overall, it was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The only real issue I had was the placement of the mirror as there was no plug socket nearby so hairstyling was done next to the tv with a small mirror and makeup was done by moving the furniture around as well. Not very practical but manageable for a one night stay. We were only there for one night while visiting Winchester but made use of the restaurant and bar for dinner which was superb. The meal we had was exceptional. We couldn’t find fault with a single element, compliments to the chef. Breakfast was also wonderful and the lady serving in the morning was very welcoming and a fantastic host. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. If we ever have need to be in the area again we would happily stay here again.

What a fabulous place to stay! Crawley is a chocolate box picture of a village. The Fox inn did not disappoint from the minute the car was parked and we entered. Staff were friendly and accommodating and showed us to our room. The Stockbridge room was spacious with Kingsize bed sumptuous bedding and a bathroom to knock your socks off! Fabulous!! And as for the breakfast included…..amazing! Will be visiting again and this time spend more time checking out the village which has storytelling history.

I recently stayed at The Fox Hotel for one night and had a good experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hotel's cozy atmosphere made for a relaxing stay, and the location was perfect for exploring the local area. I highly recommend The Fox Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay! We also stayed for dinner and the food was excellent.

My favourite stop-over when working in the area. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent food, service and in a picture postcard setting. Rooms can be expensive but you generally get what you pay for...

Surprisingly cute and charming, but no lift. We were on the third floor. Other than that, it was delightful. The food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient.

Beautiful village with thatched roof cottages. Very quaint and relaxing.

Had a wonderful stay at The Fox, large, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped room. Lovely staff and some of the most delicious food we’ve had in ages!

The Fox was a lovely place to stay while visiting family. The meal that we had on the first night was extremely good, and we had been told that the breakfast was going to be just as good. Unfortunately this was not the case. My husband had the full English, but the black sausage was so dried out that when he put his fork in it it broke into tiny pieces (inedible). The bacon wasn't much better. The hash brown and the mushrooms were ok. However, he was asked how he would like his egg, which did come sunny side up, but was rock hard! I had poached eggs with salmon and the poached eggs were just as solid. This was a great disappointment after being told how good it was going to be. Definitely not worth £25.

Fantastic place. Lucky enough to find The Fox after being let down by The Running Horse and were delighted. All the staff particularly Annie & Liz (at breakfast hope I got the right name) were absolutely brilliant. The room was superb - huge, every possible convenience & spotlessly clean. Both bedroom & bathroom beautifully decorated; great bath & shower. Sadly didn’t have dinner as had reservations elsewhere but judging by breakfast it would have been very good. Definitely returning and can’t recommend highly enough
